Does anyone know what is going on at John Muir? I had previously contacted them for weight loss surgery about two years ago but didnt proceed. When I contacted them again, I cant seem to get a hold of Anne Timberlake (who I dealt with before). In addition, it seems like all informational seminars route me through to a Dr. Cirangle? It seems a little disorganized all of a sudden and it has me a little worried. Anyone know the inside scoop?

i have no idea about those places but all I can say is that I wish I could have had surgery with Dr. Cirangle. He's a great surgeon and has a great program. You should look into it!

Please tell me more. Looks like you have already had your surgery, why do you think Cirangle would have been better? Trying to make a decision here as well.

I have heard Cirangle is a great surgeon but not so good with patients , i know several who are afraid to go back to him and others just love him.
Is he still w/ laproscopics of SF?
You must be in the Bay Area?

I'm scheduled with Dr Cirangle this Tuesday (ahhh!). His website is www.lapsf.com and he's one of the best WL surgeons out there. I'm a self pay patient and all of those procedures happen at John Muir, I was told. His office set everything up and I was called today by the hospital regarding admitting/registration. So it seems like everything's all set.
