What a ride!!!

Well, yes as you know I am sleeved as of the 18th - and still incredibly thankful for that!  At my 5 day pcp follow up - my pcp wouldnt let me go.  My heart rate was tachy, and my skin was clammy, and the night before had a fever of 102.  She called Dr Li, they spoke and wanted to ensure I did not have a leak anywhere.  Toodled down to the ER, did the CT scan.  YAY NO LEAK!! However, my appendix was getting ready to blow!  I was in surgery again within hours.  So two surgeries in 6 days!!!  Finally released from Kaiser (yet again) on Saturday and doing well.  The appendix hurt more than getting sleeved.  Had my two week sleeve follow up and all is looking good!  I am now on moist foods, and last night Cybil and I had a love hate relationship with chicken lol.  We worked through it, and are plugging along on to another day.

But all is good now, I am back on track and moving forward rocking my new sleeve!!

OMG Nicole,.....how scary that had to be for me. I am glad it all worked out for and you are doing much better. You and cybil will have "bonding" moments

Keep up the great work.

Nicole,

So sorry to hear you've had to endure so much in such a short amount of time.  I am happy to hear you're better now and doing well.  Here's to smooth sailing from her on!

Hugs,
