I have WOMEN'S CLOTHING to give away - San Francisco
Hello everyone,
I have huge bags of women's clothing in various sizes that either don't fit me now, or that are not my style or color (I got a bunch on San Francisco Freecycle). Many are in great shape. My sister (who was visiting from Skokie, IL) helped me go through all my clothes and I have generated over 11 LARGE (33 gallon) TRASH BAGS of clothes to give away!
The only time I came to Coco's in Concord, I brought 6 shopping bags of clothing and no one took any and I had to bring them back home -- although I have to say I got 2 pair of very nice crop pants (black and turquoise) in a 16 that fit me now - thank you whoever brought those. But I am not about to schlep 11 large trash bags around.
If you want to come to my house to check out the clothes and take them with you, please let me know (I live in the Bernal Heights neighborhood of San Francisco - right off 101 or 280):
I have clothing organized into theses sizes:
26 and above (including some 3X and 4X -- I have about 4 large trash bags full, including some size 26 pants that have hardly been worn and some lovely blouses (size 30/32) and some underwear and bras (mostly 44DDD and some 46DDD).
24 - about 2 large trash bags full, including some 2X/3X
22- about 3 large trash bags full, including some 2X
20- about 1 trash bag full
18 - about 1/2 trash bag or less
16- about 1/2 trash bag of mostly things that are not my style or color (but they may be yours)
I would rather give these to WLS people than offer them on SF Freecycle or give them to Goodwill, but if I don't get any interest from this post, I will give them away in some other manner.
You can call me to ask questions about the clothing, and leave your name and number on the machine if I am not home - and tell me why you are calling, so I don't think you are trying to sell me something :-)
Thank you all for reading this post and I look forward to meeting you when you come to pick up clothing.

Usually Barb takes the extras to Goodwill so you don't have to bring them home.
But I have to say, with that group, a lot doesn't get taken. I started just bringing a few items and that works better. So even with Barb there to take your extras, 11 bags is probably going to overwhelm us. LOL
I hope you find someone to take them. I gave away a bunch to a local gal I met on OH when I was first losing and I was so happy to know they were going to someone who would appreciate them.

Thanks. I think that Barb offered to take them, but I could give them to Goodwill myself, but I really want to give them to someone who is on this journey, so I can pay forward what people have given to me. One of my friends from Dr. Jossart's support group has given me lots of clothing (and she and I have the same color preferences!) and I know it gives her pleasure when she sees that I enjoy wearing the clothing that she gave me. I would like to do the same.
