Post Date: 8/1/11 11:21 am   So now what??? I saw my Dr at 9 this morning and she entered the referral? Do I try to call and expedite the process? Do I sit on my hands? Help- what's the next step? Thanks for your feedback.

Congrats on getting to the Referral stage. Not sure if all Kaiser locations are the same; and it also depends on which doctor you are referred to.

I finished my 12-week classes back in April and then found out in July that I needed a Psych eval, and that the doctor I was referred to had me go to a nutrition class at the hospital I'm having the surgery at... and I also had to go to what they called a "Dr. Talk" which was a group thing, where a doctor spoke about the specific surgery I am considering. Next is my 1on 1 appt with the doctor who is doing the surgery and 2 weeks later the surgery date.
