It's Finally Friday!
Good Morning Cali Friends,
Finally it's Friday!!!! I'm up in Somona until noon for a meeting which started yesterday. I work for a school district and we don't spend money on hotels and food with budgets being like they are, but our insurance broker put this "retreat" on and spared no expense. The hotel is really a beauty and I've been walking all around the grounds because it's peaceful and pretty. Our dinner last night was really yummy too. If I was a drinker I probably would have enjoyed that, but I drin****d tea and even that was good! I did allow myself a few bites of a creme brulee which I hadn't had in about 3 years and man was it good. Not a habit I'll get back into, but it was tasty. I can't imagine what that dinner bill was but it was fun to order great food and be able to leave over half of it because #1 I couldn't possibly eat it all and #2 I wasn't paying the prices. Generally I'd be splitting it or bringing home 2/3 for lunches, and truth be told I don't go to high end places anymore with my husband not working.
Today I will get home around 1pm and begin cleaning the house in prep for the weekend onslaught of musicians tomorrow.

Hi Cali,
well I am still on the road, going home today to leave again tomorrow. But, at least this time it is for vacation. Ms V and I are headed to the beach in Mexico!! She is so excited for this girls vacation. well gotta get back to work.
Barb are you at the Marriott in Sonoma? I love that place, stay there when I am in the area.
