Terriffic Thursday Is Here

Good Morning Cali Friends,

How's is going?  Crazy busy day for me yesterday but I left feeling like I got so much done.  I won't be back in my office until Tuesday but I'll be working!

Yesterday was my husband's birthday.  Did dinner out and came back from my mother-in-law's home made cheesecake (my husband's favorite) which she cut the sugar way down in the receipe.  I enjoyed my sliver tremendously.

Today will be another wild one.  I have PT this morning (thank goodness) for my neck which they are calling arthritis and degeneration, I just call it a pain!  Then I have to drive to Sonoma and go to what the agency is calling a "retreat" a fancy word for a meeting with a dinner and another half day meeting tomorrow.  I guess if I have to go to a "retreat", Sonoma is a beautiful place to have to go!   Then come home tomorrow and clean house to get ready for the onslaught of our friends who are coming to "jam" all weekend.  My husband and many of his friends who will be coming all play music so there will be lots of great rock and roll music pouring out of our house.  While I play sax, I don't play rock and roll or improv so I'll be singing from time to time (at least that's what I've been commissioned to do).  We've let the neighbors know!  We'll all be respectful and stop at a reasonable hour and then it will be acoustic and not amps!  LOL

Good Morning One and ALL

I know I have not been around in a while, but after our trip to Vegas, I had some major stuff done with my arm. Today I go for a fitting for a prosthesis. I am not sure I will like that very much, but I guess I should go, and see what they are talking about. Right?

I have been keeping busy or as much as I can. LOL  I went to the doctor last night and complained about an problem with my ear and found out that I have TMD (Tremporomandibular Disorder) And its not my ear but my jaw. Oh Lord!! What next?

Ok I need to get myself moving. And I need some coffee!!..

Good afternoon everyone! 

I am just floating on cloud 9 since I got my surgery date.  I am muddling through - just want to get past my birthday (ugh!)  

Today I hit another one of my scale goals, lost 25 lbs pre op!!

Had an interesting conversation with a nurse where I work.  Apparently I cant be losing weight or growing my hair out without it having to do with some man here at work.  Oh GEEZ REALLY?!?!?!?

As I politely in my smartass way said - I dont go fishing in cesspools.

Hey Everyone,

TGIF tomorrow. I can't wait. 1 more day of work, then off for 4. I feel like that is all I have done lately, be off from work. It has been much needed though. I love my job, but sometimes, it gets to be a bit much to deal with. Wish me luck this weekend. My boyfriend is wanting to get a puppy. I think he is crazy. He was supposed to get the dog tonight, but it will now be tomorrow or Saturday. I keep hoping that he will change his mind. I just don't think he knows what he is in for, plus I fear I am going to end up with it at my house(we don't live together). It isn't that I don't like dogs, I love them, especially if they live with someone else. Oh well, he has his heart set on it. God help me. Not much else going on around my world. Hope you all have a great day tomorrow.
