Yeah It's Finally Friday! Do You Have A Fun Weekend Planned?

Good Morning Cali Friends,

Happy Friday, we made it!  It sure does seem like it took long for the weekend to get here. 

Today will be another busy one at work and then I got to the Dr to review my 6 month labs.  I always enjoy seeing them turn out so much better than pre-surgery.  I do know we will talk about getting the last of the weight off and I know what I have to do there.  Then we will have my Grandson for the night which will be fun.  We're still trying to figure out what fun things we will do.

No major plans for the weekend.  We will need to gear up for next weekend which is "jam weekend" at our house.  Many of my husbands friends will be converging on our house to play music all next weekend.  They are all great guys and some will bring their wives or kids so that will be fun.  They are all good musicians and play good old rock and roll and blues.  I'll sing a bit but mostly keep up with feeding them all.

So how about you?  Do you have any fun plans for the day/weekend?  I wish you a wonderful weekend and don't forget to do something nice for you.

Barb have fun with that Grandson of yours!  We took Ms V to see Mr Poppers Penguins, it is a great kids movie.  Will he sit still for it?

Gus, hope you and the family are going well!!

We are jam packed for the weekend as usual.  A birthday party (baptismal) all in one in the city.  The a Mini Cooper rally on Sunday.  Have to get the laundry and packing in before and after it all.  Hopefully we will not be too tired for church on Sunday evening since we will miss morning mass.

I am glad it is cooling down today, I hate to drive when it is so hot, yesterday it was 90+, today only low 80s.  Ms V already wants to know what I am bringing her from this trip, nothing too exciting except school supplies.  She is so excited to be going into kindergarten.

 This is going to be a low key weekend. I have bike, run and swim workouts planned but nothing gnarly like a 100 mile bike ride. Mini-Mac is off to Drama camp on Sunday and maybe Mr. Mac and I will take advantage of that by finally getting to see Harry Potter.

I'm hoping not to melt! I had plans to go hiking but because I cut my foot, that's a no go. Maybe its a good thing - might save me from the heat!

But, I am going to soak up some sun at the beach, and maybe rent a bike and cruise around Venice/Santa Monica.  I'm planning on hitting some balls at the batting cages with some friends at some point, so hopefully I'll have a nice, fun, relaxing weekend.
