Good Morning Cali Friends and welcome to Saturday.

Yeah the weekend is here!  My Friday ended with a bang!  Sitting at work and munching on a wintergreen lifesaver I broke a tooth!  I think it was a sign that I'm not supposed to eat those!!!  So a trip to the dentist, a numb mouth (because the tooth cracked at the surface and down below the gum) and now a return visit with a gum specialist and thank goodness a crown vs. a root canal.  Oh joy!  I think wintergreen lifesavers are a thing of the past!

Today we will have my grandson visit for a few hours, so think we'll probably go to the park.  Then Ron and I will work in the garden.  Not much else planned.

How about you, what are your plans for today?  For all of our So Cal friends, how are you dealing with "carmageddon"?

Sorry about your tooth Barb! I broke a tooth once on a piece of gum! It can happen any time. I have a dentist appointment Monday (thanks for the reminder!) that i'm going to be dreading all weekend.

I had some friends tell me last night that after all the media hype for carmegeddon, the freeways were pretty light. HOPEFULLY people got the message and will stay away, but we will see as the day progresses. I'm expecting a lot of media coverage. I plan to stay far away from that area, but if their prediction of a 64 mile back up happens, I might be in trouble.

I'm meeting some friends for lunch this afternoon - experiment #2 with eating out. Fortunately, it's a little place where all the healthy people eat, so I'm sure I'll find something to eat.

good mornin all, I am preparing for cataract surgery on monday.This is something new to me so I am a lil nervous.Hopefully this will help my sight and headaches.Went to the state fair on friday and got in alot of walking.I really enjoyed it.Wanted to go b4 surgery,not sure if I will be able to see well after until I get some new glasses. Good Afternoon,

So happy today is Saturday and I'm not at work. It was a busy week. I'm back at it tomorrow, but then I'm off for 9 days. I might see if they need help on Monday though. It will all depend on what my day is like tomorrow. Today I haven't done much, went and saw the last part of Harry Potter, it was good, but the books were much better. It is sad to see its over. I really enjoyed the story. Right now, I am just enjoying being on the couch, and doing nothing. I might go for a walk later, if I can talk myself into it. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend.
