Just Another Manic Monday

Good Morning Cali Friends,

Welcome to Monday.... UGH, it just got here way too soon!!!

Well it's off to work this morning and we'll see what awaits there.  We are in the throngs of a "go live" period of HR/Payroll software at work so things are a little hectic.  Trying to learn a new system with not too much training.  We will survive though.
 
Last night was fun, my daughter and grandson came over for dinner.  My grandson is 4 and full of energy.  I ended up making cookies with him for he and grandpa, and he loved that!

I watched the Jaycee Dugard interview, OMG what an ordeal she went through and what strength and resolve she has.  She really had an incredible will and such a positive outlook.  God bless her and her children.

Well that's about all for me this morning.  I hope everyone has a great day and a wonderful week ahead. Any plans for the week or today?

Good Morning,

I would love nothing more then lay around on my couch today and do nothing, but I still have yard work to do and I haven't cleaned the house. Today is day 5 off out of 6 and I haven't been very productive around there the house at all. Oh well, I still have enjoyed my time off.  I might bbq later today. I bought one a few weeks ago and I love it. I feel like a true homeowner now. Well, I should get busy before my motivation goes away. I hope you all have a fabulous day.

So yesterday was spent getting DD settled into her new place. Its a rehab and with luck she will only be there for like 2 weeks. She as not happy about going, but also understand this is for the best. This way she wont be alone all day and can do some walking and build up her lungs again.

Just 5 more days and I am out of here for 4 days. Time for our yearly trip. We are heading vegas again. But we are staying on Freemont street. I can not wait.

I had a super crazy morning at work - and by the afternoon I was pooped! I'm thinking about calling it a day (it's only 2:45!!) and sneaking out. I think a nice walk is in order since it's not burning up outside.

The past two days has been trying to say the least!!  The airline lost my luggage and do not even have a clue where it is!  They ok'd a credit of $100 for essentials at 6am this morning, what is open at 6 am (nothing).  I at least wore a half way decent outfit on the plane so I wore that again today.  Just got back from the mall and Walmart.  This is turning out to be a horrible trip so far, only light at the end of the tunnel is I get to meet an old friend for dinner tomorrow.

the week has go get better!! Right!!
