hey lisa it's martha.. I have a question what kinds of food did you both eat on your full liquid diet stage? And how did you eat at a time? I'm finding it hard to get in all my protein drink. And I'm only able to eat 2 oz at time is this too much or too little ? I'm eating strained creamed soups and cream of wheat.Any ideas I would love to hear some.. Thanks so much Martha.. Hope you both are doing good!!

Hi Martha, I started out only doing 2 oz at a time for the first week. I am now doing 1/2 cup. It gets easier. I had a rough time in the beginning with my protein. I only did 1 a day, I am now doing 2 shakes a day. We like the premier from costco. I also ordered Unjury Chicken soup protein on line. That one helped me alot at the beginngig. It taste like the broth in chicken top ramen and has 21 grams of protein. You are eating just what we did. I found some yummy organic tomatoe and red peper soup at winco on the top shelf its in a carton so it lasts a while. There is also a black bean one that taste alot like chili. My cream of wheat I put baby food apples and cinnimin in it to change it up. Hang in there girl it gets better. Ken is on his last week of puree so he is going a little crazy seeing me eat stuff he cant have yet. Just make sure you drink drink drink. You should check out this site I posted Dr Fedorka loved it. I saw him today. My last appointment with him Bumming I really like him. I get to see him for Kens appointment on Friday then we are going to start seeing the nurses practioners at Kaiser. We are also going to the support group at Kaiser this Thursday. Hope to hear back from you soon
Good Luck, Lisa
