Good Sunday Morning

Good Morning Calif........

So its Sunday already. Why does the weekend fly by and the rest drag its feet? I don't work tomorrow, but have two doctor appointments. Both for workmen comp. I have turned the care of my thumb over to the who should be caring for it. I was told on Friday, that my work site might not be able to find a job for me. UGH! Of course they told me this after I had been working and they didn't send me home. LOL I finished my 12 hours off with a babier sitter. I am not able to use my thumb to grasp things. The pain is not fun.

So today is my nieces babier shower. I didn't get her anything, because I told her I would get her what she thinks she will need more of. So after the shower, she will let me know and I will get something from that list. As a game, if you want, you bring a bag of dippers and then she will pick a bag and then that person wins a gift. What a neat way to get some dippers.

So I need to get my nails done today, because they look like poopoo....and after tomorrow no telling weather or not I will fill like getting them down after tomorrow. LOL

Barb.......very happy to hear you had a great time on vacation, even if it was wet most of the time. I went only one time for a few days. Why Liz was running the marathon. I was running around try to find her. LOL But we had a great time and the day the plane took off, was the first time we met and we became fast friends.

MsBlue..........good to see you posting agian.  You have been missed. I don't get online as much as I would like any more. And I miss hearing about how everyone is doing. This site use to hopping but one person ran everyone off. She was evil with skin. I wish everyone would come back and see that she is gone.  I hope you can get here more often.

I hope you get a good doc to care for your thumb and it starts working and quits hurting!

Well we have been entertaining our grand dog this weekend. The kids went to San Jose for my DIL's nephew's birthday. They were not sure if they were going to get to go. My son has had this sinus infection stuff and Ryan had a stomach bug for a couple of days. Friday I brought Devan to my house to keep her aways for the sick ones. Ryan was so upset he wanted to come with me too. He kept crying and saying, "Don't leave me." It broke my heart. I told him that he and Grandma will have a special day when Mommy is out of school for summer break which is only in 3 weeks. Devan and I had so much fun though. She is really a tomboy but won't leave the house without her purse.

My DH and I were going to go away for the weekend but I was sick again. I just can't seem to shake this cold I have had. I am feeling better today though, lets see if it last.

Well, I was up bright and early.  I had to go to Kaiser Riverside to get an echocardiogram.  I was amazed that they do them on Sunday.  I had to have the echo because I took phen/fen back in the day.  Next Sunday, I have a gallbladder ultrasound and that should complete my preop testing if everything goes as planned.

  It was cold and rainy over in Riverside, but out here in the desert it is sunny.  That is one of the main reasons I live here.  It is cool and blustery today, but still sunny.  Hope everyone has a great Sunday.

  I hear ya Lu, why does the weekend always go by so fast, or should I say days off from work. I feel like I just finished work, but its been 2 days. 
   Went to the North Cal Lunch yesterday. It was a good time. Haven't been in a few months, so it was nice to see everyone.
  Been a lazy weekend. I was going to hit the gym, but still haven't gotten there, but there is always tomorrow. I did do a bit of house work today. Still need to finish, again there is tomorrow.  The boyfriend came over, so that was a good excuse to stop cleaning and hang out with him. That is much more fun anyway. Not much going on in my world, just work. I hope everyone has a fabulous week.
