Good Morning Calif....

So DD is home. I went and picked her up on Wednesday. My friend Judy went with me and we had a blasted. Of course with her there, I had to sleep on the sofa, which was not that bad, and worth it having someone along for the ride with me. It took us about 15 hours to drive up. (she drives under the speed limit) and only 12 hours with me drive all the way home. We did spend a few days enjoying the beauty of Idaho. Even went to see where Evil Knivel Jumped. I have lots of pictures all posted on Face book, so if you want you can go there and see them.

DD was very happy to be home and the Kids where over joyed to have her home also. It was very funny to see how happy they where. It seems every thing is back to normal today. I am heading off to work and she will be sleeping all day. LOL....Yap back to normal.

So how was your mother day?  What did you do?  What specal treat did the kids surprize you with?

OK time for coffee and to get moving and start my day.

Hey cali board I hope everyone's weekend was fun filled. 

I am  a mom and I have a 19 month old, since I just had surgery on May 3rd I spent my mother's day relaxing and recouping.  My baby made me a "hand print drawing and a flower". 

I spent the weekend on the couch and in bed. I had a relapse of the cold I had before. I went to the doc on Thursday and he gave me a prescription for a Z-PAC. I am finally up some today but my throat still hurts. I am really sick of being sick.

Chris and Lisa brought the kids over for about 1 hour on Sunday. My DH BBQed me a rib eye and we watched movies all weekend. I am so ready to get out of the house. I will have the kids tomorrow and then I am going to a fashion show in Stockton with my Red Hat pals on Wednesday.

Yea to all the moms!! I am not a mom, but I called my aunts and step mom. It was my first mother's day without my mom and I was getting pretty upset about it the week before seeing all the Mother's Day advertisements. It snuck up on me. I thought a lot about my mom.
