Good Easter Sunday Morning

Good Morning Everyone....Happy Easter!

I kept having this weird dream. I was looking for a bath room because I need to use one NOW!  Ever where I look the bathroom was used something other then a bath room. One had small built in swimming pool full of little dogs. Some old, others young. All in some type of shock. There was no water in the pool, other then there drinking water, but they had no or very little human contact. I kept try to get them to come to me so I could help them. Only one old dog walked up to the edge so I could touch her. But just with my finger tips. I woke up with tears in my eyes. How could someone treat them in such a way. Why I had such a dream I am not sure. It could be there Frankie was  growling last night when I went to sleep, the same way he was when he first came to live with me just about a year ago. I gave him and Chloe a piece of "candy" (raw hid chew) and he took his to bed with him and thought for sure EVERYONE was trying to take it. LOL Evoked some weird dreams.

I have to work today, so I get to spend Easter with my other family. I was sick yesterday, so I don't know if we are having a pot luck or anything, so I am just taking my lunch and dinner. I guess its safe that way.

Nothing to report other wise, but I would love to hear what you all have planned for this Easter Sunday.

Happy Easter Luana,

 Hope your feeling better today, and that your day at work goes well. I haven't been posting much lately, so I thought I would drop in, and say hi. 
  I don't have much planned for today. I'm supposed to hang out with the boyfriend, but who knows. Lately it seems that something happens and our plans get canceled. Oh well, not much you can do, that is life sometimes. I have been just working around the house, trying to gain the upper hand on the weeds. It is an never ending job. I would be out there today,but it's a *****illy and looks like it might rain. I kind of hope it does. I planted a few plants last weekend. It would save me having to water them.
  The hospital I work for opened it's new building last week, and the unit I work in is all moved into it's space. It is so nice. All of the rooms are private, which is so nice for the patients, visitors and the staff. The rooms have huge windows, which makes the whole unit so nice and bright.  The unit is much bigger then the ones we had before. The 2 units combined are 100 yards. Yup a football field. I figure I will just get a bit more exercise at work. I love it though. Change can be a good thing, sometimes. Not much else going on in my world. Just relaxing, having a nice cup of coffee, enjoying the cool breeze coming in the windows. I hope you all have a fabulous day!!!

Good Morning all,

Later this afternoon I'll be breaking bread with my father, his wife, my hubby and a couple of cousins. My dad manages a hotel and lives on site so it's very likely our Easter meal will get interupted with phone calls and people cheking in today.

I went to a party last night which lifted my spirits. Thanks to facebook I have reconnected with people I went to high school with and we've been getting together a lot. It's great. These are people from high school that I really liked!

Most of the time I am elevating my knee and hoping for a faster healing process. I have a lot of travel planned and need to be able to do a lot of walking.

Good Morning and Happy Easter To All Of You!

This morning we went to my DIL's parents house to watch the kids hunt Easter Eggs. Their cousin from San Jose was there too. They had so much fun! It was nice to get out I have been down with a virus for a couple of days. I am feeling better but am still a bit weak.

Happy Easter to all.  I hope everyone had a great day and weekend.

Yesterday we headed out and went to San Luis Obispo to surprise a friend of Ron's who was playing a gig at a small cafe there.  He and his wife were SO surprised to see us, and they even called up Ron to play and sing a couple of songs, which was so much fun. 

We had dinner last night and breakfast this morning with another friend of Ron's and his wife, so that was really a treat as well.  We're back home so it was kind of a quick trip but very enjoyable and relaxing.

Tonight we did diner with my mother-in-law, Isla and now it's just do a little laundry and get ready for the week.  One more week and it's vacation time.  Yeah!
