New to the group

Hi everyone,

I'm not new to the journey or the site, but am new to the California board as I moved here back in '09. I live on the central coast, and recently made the decision (again) to have the surgery. I'm opting for the Lap Band, and had my first meeting with my surgeon's nutritionist yesterday in Santa Barbara. It went really well, just have to lose 12 pounds, get all the tests done, stop smoking, go to the 2 seminars, and then I can finally meet my surgeon. He better be hawt or something!

Anyways, just wanted to say hello and introduce myself to the board. Good thoughts and vibes for all of us!

I am almost 2 years out from my RNY and in that time, this board has been a warm and supportive place. I am glad you found us. Good luck in meeting all the requirements for your next surgery. I would think stopping smoking would be the biggest challenge!!!!
