Vitamins & HC FSA

Hello -

Has anyone had any success in having their costs of vitamins post-op covered under their health care FSA this year?

 

Any advice would be appreciate.

You can no longer claim your vitamins on your FSA, the law changed this year.

You need a note from your surgeon saying he told you take the supplements for medical reasons.

I had too many expenses this year to need to do this but that's what the law says to do.
