Good Morning Saturday.........

I just got called into work. As you can tell, I am rushing to get there as fast as I can. NOT!. This happens all the time. They grant time off and do nothing to replace that person. Its always the same "boss" that does it. So now at the last second, its urgent!!! If they don't rush to cover the shift, why should I? Right? They will have to do something, because I will NOT work tomorrow, or monday.  But I bet they wont and they will call me. But I am not going in.

So yesterday at work, its was a nice day, but LOTS of stuff left over from Thursday when there was no clerk, but they didn't call any one to see if they would cover the shift. NOT ONE CALL! So I spent all day yesterday trying to catch up. Something needs to do be done, but wont. They only miss us clerks when we are not there. The "bosses" got into trouble when they had NOT clue how to even act like they know what they are doing sitting in the clerks chair. We are so very short right now, but they wont hire anyone. DORKS!!


Delores..........I am happy you are home and that Miss V has a mommie. Who she always has no matter where she is. So how long did you sleep? If you are reading this, it was not a year. LOL You should not get her dog until she about 5, even with the cats. Life would be ruff for a moment but it was settle done. Get her some thing like a lab. If you can find one about 6 or 8 months old. Wont take but a second to house break and that is always best. Labs are very kind breed. As I am sure you know. Also, beagles are good also. If you get them out and go on long walks. Of course 99% of all recues will love you or her for life and be the bestest dog ever. Just my two cent.

Barb.......what did you do to your hair? Did you get a new do? Have a great weekend

Msblues.........Take care of that knee. What did the doc say? You didn't crack it did you? Remember to keep up and yet move it, so it wont get stiff. Its hard to work out the stiffness if you let you it go to long. I know this for a fact. LOL

Susan.........there are tons of park in Riverside, but only one members only park. You have to have prove that you dog is up on all there shots and you pass card will not open the gate if you fail to update your records.  I am glad that you and DH are going to spend the weekending do wonderful things like watching the renactment Wooo WHooo!! No matter what its is, enjoy your time together.

Elizabeth...........get on you city about your dog park and the lack of care. They should keep an eye on it and it should be closed once a month of "deep cleaning" Even our open parks are closed and cleaned. Ask you county when was the last time it was clean for stuff like parvo.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

Don't answer the phone tomorrow Lu. It is pretty sad when you have to do that to just get a day off.

Today I have to start unpacking my house from when we had the new carpet installed. It is just like moving almost. The carpet looks so good. I am so happy we got it. We are going to go through every room and get rid of bunches of junk! It is amazing how fast you accumulate stuff that at the time you just knew you had to have and then never use it.

Good morning! Happy Saturday.  I just started my 1200 calorie pre-op meal plan today. Breakfast was just enough to make me hungy. Haha. I'm determined to stick with it though! May 24th is my options grad date and I'm bound and determined to make it to 300 before surgery!

Lu, I agree, don't answer your phone. You need a day off. So many places aren't hiring the amount of people needed to do all the work. It's just not right when management has seen their salaries increase and then not enough people are hired to do the work.

My knee will continue to be in an elevated positon. Every two hours I do my physical therapy exercises so I don't get stiff knee. I might go to a reception today that encourages young people to get excited about being involved in the political/government process if I feel like it.

Other than that it's more elevation, ice, movies, books, and so on.

Wow...just be gone a couple of days from here and look at all I missed!  So D has returned home from down south...so happy she made it home safely^_^  Didn't know MsBlues had knee issues (surgery or accident?) but sure sounds like she is doing all the right things for healing ^_^  And Elizabeth.new carpet?? I am sooo jealous!! LOL  But I agree, it sure is alot like 'work' to put everything back in place.  And tell me your secret to get hubby to part with any of his 'valuables'!    Lon has every electrical cord, I swear, to every electronic gadget he has ever owned LOL  And Lu~!  DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE!!  That is why we have answering machines...or so my boss tells me LOL

Today has already been very interesting...even if I didn't want to know all the details :-(  Met up with some friends and walked 3 miles while we talked about some issues in our support group.  Too many chiefs and not enough indians...everybody has opinion on 'how' but nobody wants to step up and contribute.  And of course, it doesn't help when faciliators are not on the same page...unfortunately, I forsee some not-so-pleasant times ahead.  But I guess every 'successful' group has growing pains.

Today I hope to meet up with at least one of my sons...two of them have b/days, 1 Monday and 1 Tuesday.  And my grandson just had his b/day a week ago...DIL is playing games about getting together so I can give present..but that is nothing new :-(  The sun is shining so I plan to treat myself to a scooter ride...the heck with the rest of the world...God has been good to me..I'm going to celebrate His generosity with the sun and take advantage of this gorgeous weather and go outside ;-)

Hope Nor Cal has a blast with pizza and bowling...plans come and go and as usual, mine changed LOL  Enjoy the weekend!  It's what the previous 5 days were all about...planning for fun ;-)
