$1900 poorer

At least I have insurance! I went to the hospital where I am having surgery next Wed. and signed all the paperwork, got some blood drawn, and learned how to use the spirometer? thingy so I don't get pneumonia. I didn't have to pay anything today but on surgery day I have to pay my $1000 deductible, which isn't too bad. And they are going to bill me the rest. Thank you baby Jesus! I am so excited surgery is only a few days away! Whoo hoo!

Congrats Kandis, I had my surgery a week from today and feel great!!! We are making room on the loser bench for you right now. Best of luck please let us know how you are doing.

Girl, count yourself lucky.  I am a starving student, even poorer now that I paid out-of-pocket for WLS and now out-of-pocket for plastics!  It will be so worth it!
