Good Morning....Sunday is here again

Good Morning Calif.....

I woke up early this morning raring to go, now I am ready for bed. LOL I am having my frist cup of coffee so with luck that will help.

Yesterday at work it was nice start. The pts came in waves of 3 then a small break and it was start all over again until about 5 when they just kept coming every 20 minutes. I guess it made time pass but sometimes that is just to much. UGH!

Tomorrow is my 20 years of service party for the county. Of course I can not go, because I am training someone and I am the ONLY MUC in the hospital. Great planing on the counties part.  This is really 21 years for me. But they move a bit slow. I am upset about not being able to attend but nothing I can do about it. I am come on its only been 21 years of service why should my boss care? I am going to RSVP by telling them the truth. Maybe they (the BIG powers to be) will make some changes, but I doubte it. My boss told me that since he could not make it...why should I??.......ahh because its for ME???? (along with all the others that have working for the county for 15, 20 30 and 50 years. OMG! 50 years. I would love to go just to see her. I wonder how old she is?

Barb..............I think today is going to be nice, but have yet to hear the news. I just hope my 3 days off are sunny and nice. Not over warm, but sunny. How was your graduation? Did you get a cap and grown? Did you get flowers? Someone should of gotten you flowers. LOL Enjoy your day in the vit D soak it all up.

Delores.......I hope your mom is doing much better. Did she end up in urgent care? Now that you have had a day of rest, how are YOU doing? I hope you are able to relax and enjoy your time with DH and have  wonderful relaxing time. Try not to stress.....siad the stress queen. Happy Anniversary!

Elizabeth...........Today is your home going right? be safe getting there. And spend the frist few hours relaxing and D-stress! Yes, the weather is strange. Over warm one day and darn cold the next. It makes one wonder what the summer is going to be like? Any guesses?

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

Lu, you're right you should be going.  It's your HR department's responsibility to make sure managers are informed and directed to make sure the anniversary people attend.  I did 2 years of service awards at the hospital I worked at and I made sure it happened.  We did nice things too and had a nice celebration for our hospital staff.

My graduation was fun.  We had a nice lunch and got our diplomas.  The nicest part is that I was able to spend some time on Friday night with my former boss (who I really liked) and catch up on both of our lives.  She's retired but working LOL.  The other nice part was that I got home early, so we went to the nursery and bought our blackberry and raspberry bushes!  LOL  I did get taken out to dinner last night as a celebration too.

Today is more working in the yard, looks like it's going to be a great day for it.

evening Lu and Cali,

it has been a nice getaway with my love.  Thanks for the shout-out! 

My mom is doing better, but still having a hard time finding food she can keep down.  she can eat about 2oz a shot, but if her tummy says no, it comes right back up.  Seems like oatmeal and banana are the best things working so far.  I will stay in SB when we get back if she is not doing a lot better by tomorrow.  time will only tell.

Ms V is having a great time with her grandpa, grandma and cousins.  she was really mad at me when she found out I was with them without her (the nerve of me!!).  She will go back with DH tomorrow and I will follow maybe on Tuesday or Thursday.

I AM HOME!! I am so glad to be home. My plane landed about 3:40 this afternoon. It was so good to see my husband. My son and DIL brought my grandbabies over to see me this afternoon. I loved seeing them. They gave me such hugs and loves. We got my Mother all moved into her new room. My sister got everything done but hanging up her pictures. We got a lot accomplished this weekend. In fact I got a lot done in the last 3 weeks. Did I say how good it is to be home!!
