Good Morning Calif..
I have my coffee and I feel the rush...even if its slow, its there. LOL
Yesterday was a good day at wor****il about 4 then the gates opened. UGH!! Then I was busting butt the rest of the shift. Have I ever told you I hate my 12 hours shifts? If not, OMG! I hate 12 hours shifts.
I only get Friday off this week because I have agreed to work for a friend who needs the time off to help her daughter who is having her RNY tomorrow. My friend is going to take care of her baby why she is in the hospital. She is a good friend so I don't mind helping her out of the jam.
Barb...........how was dinner with the kids? What did you cook? or did you all go out? I am glad you kept the fires small. Some small fires are fun to deal with but when it become to many, then its to much work.
Mommy.......sorry to hear that things are a bit tuff right now, but it will get better when your family is around you to help support you. Nancy is right, you need to take care of yourself frist, so that you are then able to take of your family. Of course you know that, and I am sure you will do the best you can. Take care!
Elizabeth......I wish you a calm pain free day. And a safe trip home sunday. Remember to do some deep breathing and try to relax and de-stress as often as you can through out the day.
Susan......welcome back, you have been missed. Sorry to hear about DH's trouble with his BS levels. They so easy go up and take tons of work to get back down. I know because I have been working on mine. UGH! Sorry about the lost of veggies for you. I am sure it wont be for long.

Morning Lu and Cali,
I am up and at it early today. Then i can get off work at 1:30 to get some things done before I head to the hospital. They were supposed to take mom's NG tube out last night but the doctor never came back before I left. They paged him and said he must be in surgery (he is a surgeon and I guess he made someone wait to do my mom's surgery).
One more day and my family is here. I am hoping mom will come home tomorrow too, but since they did not remove the tube it is pretty unlikely. She has to eat and have a BM before she comes home and with the tube "no food", so not BM. Oh well I can take Ms V to see her at least.
The weather was very nice yesterday, it was the first day I was not cold. The past couple I have been freezing even with the nice weather. Well better get back to work. Hope you all enjoy your day!

Lu, thank you for the nice shout out this morning, you're so sweet for doing those, always a treat.
Last evening my daughter and grandson came over for dinner. I made tacos, rice and beans and they loved it! Ron always is happy with what I cook (except the basalmic chicken which I loved). After dinner we all went to the garden and Cameron and Grandpa planted radishes, carrots and green onions and then watered the seeds. Cam loved playing in the dirt with his shovel and tools we bought him. We really did have fun. Tonight Ron and I will plant the potatoes, onions and garlic and then I think we're done planting the spring garden and let the waiting begin!
Well, I hope everyone has a great day. Time to get ready for work.

So happy to read your dinner went well! How I love tacos but they just don't like me anymore :-( We'll need to come up and see this garden...you and Ron have done an awesome job with your backyard. Wish we had your guys' green thumb! ^_^

Lu, I don't know how you do it. 12 hour shifts would kill me and working so many of them would put me in the crazy house. (Not that I am far from there anyway! LOL

Evening Lu...how do you do 12 hour days/evenings? I have thought about requesting to change my hours to 4-10hour days..to get that wonderful 3-day weekend..but then I think about not getting off until 6pm....well that is just too late and I get tired after just 6 hours LOL
Been a busy week so far...not work so much, even tho I'm at month end and all it requires. Monday was packed with work, my line dancing exercise class followed right after with my support group meeting. Didn't make it home until almost 9pm :-( Tuesday was work and a dentist appt, which is always stressful. I had 3 cavaties to be filled..and I messed up appt days (talk about stressing! I was 2 days early for the appt!!!) but as long as I was willing to see a new dentist and not my regular guy, then I could stay. Wasn't really thrilled but decided I had left work early so might as well get it done. WOW! Was I surprised...while I still love my regular dentist..I'll go to Dr T anytime~!! Talk about being Doctor Painless! And all 3 cavaties filled/fixed in under an hour...I was impressed!!
Today was work and again left a little early..Lon and I had a 'movie date' LOL We are members of the Sacramento Zoo...and got to see the documentary Born to be Wild at the Imax Theater ^_^ FREE!!! And I was able to pass up the popcorn, corn dogs and hot dogs even tho the smell was all around us!! The film was in 3D...and talk about wild...put those orangatans and elephants right in our laps! LOL
Wow...this is long...I must be hyped..too much protein/energy LOL So see ya tomorrow ;-)
