Inland Empire... support groups?

Is the Crown support group still going on? I heard there were issues with it?

Are there any other support groups in the Inland Empire?

Yes, Dr. Suh still has support groups. Dr. Suh felt that the wt loss surgery patients were not getting good service with the many faceted Crown Surgery office, so he has a new staff, dedicated to only his patients.  He has a new web site, www.suhbariatric.com . Both this site and the crown site still list the support groups in the Inland Empire.  I think the new site was just launched last month.  I've attended a couple of other groups in the inland empire, in Corona and Rancho Cucamonga, but neither of these has as many members as the Redlands group where I met you.  Their format is not as informative, and I've encouraged other surgeon's members to attend Dr. Suh's groups, and I often still see these patients still in attendance.  There are no issues with the group--just that Dr. Suh has set up a different office staff for his patients.  This process started 3-4 months ago.  Lisa, one of his surgical nurses is the new bariatric surgery office manager.  If you called Crown, they may have not been too informative.  But there is proper contact data at Dr. Suh's new site.  DAVE

I have started a support group and we meet in rancho cucamonga. Our next meet is April 12th at 6:30. I call our group the sassy socials. Let me know if you are interested.

Don't know where you are but they have a support group the 2nd Saturday of each month in Riverside at the Emeritus at Villa de Anza, 5881 El Palomino Dr.,, Riverside, CA   92509 which is in an assisted living center.  If interested contact Kathy Mitchell (951) 685-6299

I went last Saturday and it was pretty good.
