Looking for a PCP Doctor who treats RNY and Chronic Pain in the East Bay area- Kasier

Hi,

I am having troubles with my doctor and am hoping to find a new one soon - now... asap in Kasier. I need a doctor who is familiar with RNY and has chronic pain patients. I am 13 yrs out of surgery but developed a condition where I have chronic pain. After a car accident and chriopractor it spread in my body. He wont give me any other opiate - even though I ask for it and have found literature online about how people react differently. Its a huge uphill battle pushing pasta. I am very tired and just want a doctor who is accepting to treating rny and chronic pain. The chronic pain dept in Hayward/UC is worthless in my opinion and did not help me. He did not listen and frankly was totally unethical. I am looking for a doctor who will listen to me and not give me drugs that will make me gain a lot of weight as I am battling weight gain now.

Any suggestions are helpful. If you have chronic pain I would like to hear from you and who you have treating you. I would prefer that Kasier find out whats wrong with me vs having to take opiates for the rest of my life and going down that path. I am tired of reading medical journals and trying to find out whats wrong. I need someone who will treat me as if I am their own kid. Thank you for any input.

Try and get an app with the head of bariatrics at south San Francisco kaiser.   She truly specializes in overweight people.   good luck!
