Good Morning Calif.....

Happy Monday to everyone! I wish this week to be wonderful for all.

Last friday I went to a class for the County and found out that they will be starting a training program to run a marathon and they are thinking on running Long Beach. That is such wonderful news. I really need to get back to running. Or moving!!! I am all ready to sign up. I think they will be training on Fridays so I will only be able to train every other friday with them, but I think it will be ok. I will just run my miles on thrusday when I have to work friday. Unless my boss works something out for me. HAHAHAH...

So yesterday at work. I thought I was going to be sick, frist thing in the morning I felt like poopoo, and thought for sure I would have to leave work and go home and spend time in the bath room. I was shaking, sweating, upset tummy and all over body ugh! I checked my blood suger, and it was 114, good and my blood presurewas also good. But after about 3 hours, I started feeling much better and made it through the day. And today all is good. Its was a wierd start to an otherwise good day.

Barb.........great news about your step mom. Sounds like she boucned back nicely. I am sure she will feel much better being at home and sleeping in her own bed. I know I always do. This weather is so weird. I was hoping to start my seeds and start my veggies. But guess we need to wait another week or so. Glad you all had a wonderful lunch. Where are the pictures?

Elizabeth.......sound like you had a wonderful weekend. I love the going to aquarium and playing at the "petting pounds" just like all the other kids. LOL Hanging out at the wharf is also fun. The whole town is fun. I hope your week just flys by, so you can enjoy another great weekend.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

Lu so glad you are feeling better.  The marathon sounds like fun too.  I need to get back to basics on exercising.

Yesterday, brought my step mom home.  I know she was really happy to be home but very appreciative of her week at our house to recoup as well.  We stopped at WalMart and then went to lunch and I brought her to the grocery store to stock up on what she might need since she's been away.

Today I have a meeting this morning at the county, so I was able to sleep in a little as the meeting starts at 9. 

So starts the week.  I sure wish the rain would go away, I miss the warm blue skies.

Morning Lu and all to follow
My day is going so so...not a whole lot of pressure at work but it won't last long :-( I'll be testing my database and billing system for next months big annual membeship dues billing...need enough lead-time in case I run into 'clitches' :-(  Gotta take my  car in for an oil change and this year DMV thinks I need to have it checked for smog...THAT has gotten sooooo expensive!! Close to $50 just to have checked and get the certificate....doesn't even need repairs for crying out loud.  Anyway, I'll take it to the garage mechanic we use either Thursday or Friday morning, wait for it to be done and then come into work.

Wednesday I'll only work 1/2 day as I'll be heading to Richmond for my 2year surgiversary check up...be a boring 2hour group meeting...all my labs came back with the numbers right where they should be, including my D...that's all I really cared about this time around.  9 vials instead of 11 like last year..so good that 'dracula' didn't need as much LOL

Well, that is it for me...Barb...so glad to hear Lil is back up to par...she is such a neat lady ;-)  Tho I did miss her and Isla Saturday!  Lunch was fun..just went too fast LOL

Lu...enjoy your month of 'me' time and I'm happy to hear DD has improved enough to make the trip.  She has been thru the ringer these last couple of months.

Elizabeth...I know you are going to post.. snicker snicker....Monterey sounds like a fun trip...Lon and I were there last July...went out on the whale boats...saw a couple of humpbacks and 3 pods of dolphins..way cool.  One of these days, you and I are going to have to hit the outlet stores here in Folsom and over in Vacaville...make a big huge day of it!

To all Cali peeps..hope these storms miss you...but thank God we have been spared what Japan went thru...or Santa Cruz or Crescent City!  Prayers for all in need ;-)

Afternoon Cali,

finally got a moment to myself.  Starting a new audit and there was travel then meetings and lunch and lots of work.  Should be winding down in a few.  It was raining when I left this morning, but the sun is shinning now.  At least i will not have to unload in the rain.

Ms V is happy because her and daddy are in charge this week since mommy is gone!  She is so funny!!  They are going to Mickey D's for dinner, mommy does not do mickey D's (although they have oatmeal now for breakfast). 

Well better get back at it, the rain is great for my new flowers I planted yesterday.  Have a great evening!!
