 Hi all!

Wondering if any of you have used Scripps Clinic Center for Weight Management in San Diego?  If so,  did you go with Dr. Fuller or Dr. Takata?   I  am in the begininng stages, I have an appt with their office on Thursday.

Any info you can provide would be great and most helpful!

Thanks in advance,
Amy

I had Dr. Taller, he is the best.  I was very happy with his conservative and careful surgery habbits.  I originally had Dr. Rumsey but he had a medical problem and at the last minute I was changed to Dr. Taller, and I am very grateful I had him as my surgeon.

Oh my gosh, we were probably in the same damn exercise class too.  Lol.  At first I was a little nervous because he is only 43!  But, he is conservative and did a great job, I am not disappointed.  I made a huge mistake on Friday night and ate two little cube sizes of pizza and it went down but it was sharp feeling in my pouch.  I will NEVER go off track again, it took a day and a half before it dissolved.  Someone said that any RNY patient should have papaya enzyme at all times, for meats and other hard to digest things.  They are chewable and at RIte AIde, super cheap.  They worked and I was praying so hard that it would go away, I didnt want to have to drive to San Diego all the way from Bakersfield.  How are you feeling?  I'm still kind of sore inside, not pain, but discomfort.  I had a pretty severe hiatal hernia he repaired, he gave me pictures of it before and after.  They are in color and 5 x 7.  I laughed.  My surgery on the 1st was around 11:30 a.m.  When was yours?  I like your little cheers smily faces, wishes I could have a beer.  :  )

LOL... pizza cubes oh alright I will confess, I cheated a little to KFC mashed pototoes with the gravy, but back on track. This head hunger is no joke. I am now really understanding my body signals that I am full. Just miss eating . I was telling my friend who had bypass about the burping and hip ups and she says it better than fartingI will pick up some papaya enzymes. thanks for the tip.I am feeling fine , a little sore ,ha vent use my pain med at all. Dr Taller told me that I had a hiatal hernia too, and he fix it.,but I did not see pictures . Didn't know what that was until then. My surgery was on the 7Th  at 8 am for some reason I thought we had the same surgery date. I agree with you the Dr is great very professional and I have NO REGRETS. Glad your feeling better, maybe once we get further out we can have that beer  light of course.
