Are you getting enough protein in? I had a mini stall at 3 weeks, it is not uncommon. Hang in there. Ypu should be seeing your surgeon soon talk to him/her about it. They will have good advice for you. Good Luck!

Make sure you are getting enough protein and water in.  Hang in there, stalls are to be expected while the body re-distributes itself.

Don't get discouraged, this is VERY normal.

You are not doing anything wrong!  There are so many things going on within your body...give it a chance to catch up! LOL  Just be sure you are sipping all the water you can get in...you do not want to get dyhrated.  Have you been advanced to stage 2?  Be sure you are getting your protein and vitamins also.  Are you up to doing some exercise?  All of these are important to your journey.  Just as a reminder...ask yourself...when was the last time you lost 13lbs in less than a month??? ;-) At this stage of your journey, there is just no way you won't lose,..,.but your body will take 'a break',  it needs time to heal, to adjust to less food and to just 'catch up' to what is happening to it. Just keep doing what you are doing...relax...go for a walk when you head starts messing with you...you are doing GREAT!

Please dont be to hard on yourself. When I had my RnY, I lost an entire 1 pound the first week. On my 1 month follow up, I had lost a total of 14 pounds. But then it was like the dam opened up and I was on an e ticket ride. In 7 months, I lost 160 pounds.

So, just like everyone else has said, drink the protein, take the vitamins as directed, stick with the protocol and get moving (walk, bike ride etc) and you will be pleased with the results.

Have a great day.........Rick

It's water retention. There's no way you aren't losing at 3 weeks out. You are lucky to be getting in 500 calories so you have to be losing. But moving from liquids to softs to regular food causes people to stall for a while sometimes.

MIght help to take measurements too rather than just weighing because as stated, stalls will happen and to see inches come off while the scale refuses to move is not at all uncommon.
