OMG!! its monday already. I am up and have the coffee flowing but damg I want to SLEEP 

So how was your weekend? I worked and went to see DD. My weekend in a nuts shell.

DD seems like she is doing much better. They are going to get her up and move her around today. Make her lungs work a bit hard and see how they do. She is able to get up and walk to the bathroom right now, but that is it, and only with a nurse. The doctor told us that she might slip a little bit once the lung have to work. They might not like it much. But its was is going to help her to get better sooner.

I am hoping to sleep in tomorrow, until at least 8 lets see how far I make it.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

Lu, so glad to hear DD is doing better and I am still keeping her in thoughts and prayers.  Here's hoping you sleep til 8 am tomorrow.

Not too much of a weekend for me as I had my class on Friday night and all day Saturday.  Yesterday got up and made breakfast for Ron and I.  Picked up my mother-in-law and we went to WalMart.  Came home made dinner and watched the Oscars. 

This week will bring a busy work week but I am looking forward to the weekend to relax and hopefully weather permitting work in the garden.

Morning Lu and Cali,

Well my weekend was nice and quite.  We went to a gathering for DH on Saturday some old fraternity friends.  Then church and the swap meet on Sunday.  Sunday morning everything was frozen but no snow.  The afternoon was nice did not need a jacket.  We went to the park too for a while.  Found a new one on the way home from swap meet had a train and carousel.  ms v loved it did not want to come home.

Today is back to the grind.  Might only be working another week if the government shuts down.  They are taking about furloughs and they are not sure for how long.  We will not report to wor****il they can come to s resolution on the budget.  Hopefully the powers that be can get their heads on straight and sign a budge or at least a continuing resolution.  Oh well life goes on.  I need a vacation already but did not want one like this without pay.  Hopefully it will only be a week or two at most.

Good Afternoon Lu, Barb, Dolores, and Calie Friends.

I had a good weekend. I went to lunch with Lisa and the kids on Saturday. Good ol' McDonald's. I had a parfait. I then went to Dressbarn and got 3 shirts and jeggings. I saved $49.00. Chris and Lisa had given me a gift certificate for $50. Then of course I spent a little more. One of the clerks was having a VIP Party and invited me to come so I got %15 off my entire purchase that is why I save the $49. I just love that store and all the sales clerks.

Last night we took Chris, Lisa, and the kids to dinner. We had a good time. We are getting new carpet on Thursday so yesterday and today I have been cleaning house and putting stuff together to get ready for moving all the furniture and stuff. I can't wait for our new carpet to be put in.

Lu, I hope you get some rest tomorrow. I am glad DD is doing better. How long has she been in the hospital now.

Dolores, I hope you don't get furloughed. I don't think these people will ever get their stuff together because look how long it has been and they haven't. It is very scary.

Oh for those of you who met my niece Michelle, her first appointment with the surgeon is a week from Thursday. She is so excited.

I've been sorta mia lately....getting here hit and miss :-( Lu, so sorry to hear DD is back in the hospital.  Last I read, you two were looking at getting a new house or something.  Sure hope she improves quickly and makes a quick rebound.

Saturday, hubby and I went to Old Town Sacramento with the purpose of exchanging a pocket calculator I bought in a day planner; ended up with the new calculator...and a new leather coat! LOL  I just love Leather Works..all their stuff, coats, purses, vests, etc are $20 or less!!  I now have all 4 of their leather coat styles and a vest..hubby bought a motorcycle jacket that matches mine...we'll be in style on the scooters this spring ;-)  Sunday was a laid back day as hubby has come down with a head cold and it finally knocked him down Sunday am :-(  Today's not much better for him sadly.

Today was a routine day but with it being month end, I'll be busy for the next week or so closing books.  I'm closing in on my 2nd surgiversary and I'm actually getting excited about going to Richmond for my 'group' check up LOL
