What to do with clothes?

I have a ton of really nice clothes. Started taking pics for ebay and realized... there's too many. I listed 30 items and didn't even scratch one LARGE of TWO lawn bags (the kind that are 4-5 feet high)

What did you guys do with the really nice ones? These are things from Lands End that are the softest warmest sweaters and really nice things from Avenue and Lane Bryant... I don't really want to just "give em away" because I'm going down in sizes kinda fast. They're all 2x-3x and I'm a large/xlarge now.

Anyone in the Inland Empire ...What to do?

I have wasted enough of my life worrying about what people think of me.

When we do our Nor Cal Losers luncheon we have a clothing exchange and share what we've "under grown" out of with others that may just be starting their journey or with others that may be in that size.  It's so much fun to see some of the same clothes come back because the person has "under grown" out of them and is passing them along.

If you're feeling like this is giving them away, there are a couple of other options that come to mind:  1) Consignment stores where you can get money for them if they are sold, or 2) donating them to women's shelters for women that are trying to re-enter the workforce.

Good luck on your journey and happy shopping.

You could also have a garage sale. Then you will make some money to go towards new clothes. Which by the way shopping for new clothes is so much fun!

I have given clothes to my friends and sister, freecylced some clothes to local women who need them, given some away to Goodwill.  I had a plan to ebay some, never did and taking some to a consignment store,  they are still in my trunk.  Depends on how long u want them to hang around!

I donated mine to a battered women's shelter in my area.  Many of the women there left abusive homes with only the clothes they were wearing.  The donation can be written off on your taxes as well.

I gave a bunch to a new post-op, brought some to WLS clothing exchanges and gave the rest to Goodwill.

If you do or did have a garage when you advertise LIST that you have Plus Size clothing.  My girlfriend took just SOME to her girlfriends and they listed them...she sold OUT because the big girls came out to get the clothes big time.
