Hi Julie,
Welcome back. So glad to hear you are doing well and that you've come home to the Cali forum.
If you go to my OH you can update your profile from there.... I think :-)
Hope you can join the Nor Cal Losers group for lunch one of these months. We have a great group that rallys once a month for lunch and or an outing. Lots of fun and friendship and many laughs.
You look wonderful and congrats on your success.

This is what I use to shrink my pictures.
Welcome back. I'm usually a hit and miss myself. 2.5 years out and having fun living life! Except this week I'm having some struggles and digestive issues which means I have to go back and re-think and analyze what the hell I ate this week that caused this issue. Not fun. But necessary.
Welcome back. And if you need any more help..........just ask away

HI Nancy and thanks for writing! WOw...it IS a small world isnt it?? Even more interesting is that your nickname is SUNRAY...mine is SUNSHINE!! Even have the tattoo to prove it! LOL
Congrats on coming up to your 2 year surgiversary!!
Yes, I am 7 years out and still have most of the weight off..i'm like you where my body got to a certain point and would NOT let go of any more! I was ok with that I guess. Ya know how they talk about SET POINT (nothing to do with wls just in general) I am 52 years old and the weight I stopped at and stayed for a really long time was when I first found out I was pregnant with my now 28 year old son! WIERD! LIke my body said...WOAH....I know this weight! LOL It was truly one of the FEW times I can remember what my weight was!
So fast forward to the last few years...menopause and depression..I have put on about 25 lbs and hating it!! I do feel that almost EVERYONE has a bounce back weight and whats really scary is that I know many who have gained alot if not almost ALL of it back.
Key as we know it is moderation and listening to that tummy! I still get full at times very easily and I have to stop! (this is WHY we had the surgery right? ) SO thats a good thing.
I also had a real hard time getting it off like I had NO Metabolism at all...sheesh..I worked like a dog to get that 124 lbs off...not like some where it just falls off.
SO right now i'm trying to get the weight gain off..i'm active and always have been. Cant imagine if I had not been. Hubby and I have been doing the Belly Fat Cure diet which is very close to post op surgery eating..high protien...this is just very limited sugar and carbs.
And yeah as luck would have it...I can tolerate ALL sugars..well except icecream...which to me is a dam curse! LOL Wish I couldnt tolerate sugars..maybe i'd be thinner...but such is life..i'm happy and living healthy and still a 14/16 which in my mind is WAY better than a 26/28 ANY DAY!
RIGHT? LOL Keep in touch..would love to hear about YOUR journey!! Who was your surgery doctor etc...take care and thanks for writing and telling me how to up date profile..sounds easy enough but man, I surfed around and stared at that thing and finally said FOREGET IT! LOL
Talk soon! Julie =)

Welcome back Julie! I feel we are almost neighbors, let alone family LOL I was born and raised in Stockton ;-)
To update your profile: click 'my oh', look at 'applications'...click on 'profile'...this will take you to your profile page and you can add to what you have previously written. It really is 'easy'....if anything on computers can be considered 'easy' LOL
I'm coming up on my 2nd surgiversay...would love to hear how you are handling maintenance..or even losing. I reached a 'maintenance' weight back in August of last year...my body just doesn't seem to want to let go of any more and I want to lose 10-15 more pounds. I just can't seem to find the right 'formula' :-(
Hope we hear more from you!
Nancy aka Sunray
