Hi there!

I live in Walnut Creek and work in San Mateo.  Always open to meeting new people!  I don't know about support groups in the Peninsula area but I am all about working out and shopping.  :-)

All the hospitals that have bariatric services have support groups around here. Good Sam in San Jose has them almost every day of the week!

There are also some patient-to-patient groups. One meets at San Leandro Hospital on the 3rd Sat. of the Month. Their website is here:

We also have a group of OH people that meet every month for lunch. There is a thread about it you can look up the schedule. Sometimes we do other things besides meet for lunch. We're going bowling and having a pool party and going to Apple Hill for example.
