Feeling very down

since I found out my Grandmother passed away (just 1 day after 100th birthday).  I was going down to see her next weekend.  I could not be there last weekend when they had a dinner for her and now I am very sorry I did not make the time.  I did speak with her on her birthday (Tuesday) and she sounded wonderful.  She asked about Ms V, DH and if I was traveling for work.  She was very clear minded and jovial.  Please remember to tell the ones you love that "you love them and think of them often".  I did this on Tuesday and am happy about that, but so sorry my Grandma is now gone.  She is the only Grandparent I ever had, the other 3 all died before I was born.

I am so sorry you are down.  Please know that I am keeping you in healing thoughts and prayers.  You spoke to your Grandmother and she knew you were thinking about her and she knew how busy and successful you've been.  She is looking down from heaven and has her loving arms around you all and is with you anytime you need her.  I so believe this, when I miss my Mom and Dad, I just talk to them.  It's surprising but many times I get an answer I have been searching for.

it is just so crazy with all the death my family has endure this last three months.  First my Uncle, then my Nephew and now my Grandma.  I know they are all at ease now and living the glorious life in Heaven waiting for our arrival.  But it still hurts to know I will never see then again in this life.

I am so sorry for your loss. You are right your family has had too many deaths lately. I know your Grandma understood your not coming so don't be so hard on yourself. Remember all of the good times you had with her.
