Good Morning Calif....

I got up to go to the gym and find that the jerk next door blocked my jeep in. I banged on the door until they woke up.  Only to be told it broke down. I gave them until 6:15 to move it, or I would move it for them, with the help of a tow truck. They are working on it now. The brakes locked up or something. Not my worry!! and should NOT have been my problem.

So I have to call agian tonight about jury duty, and tomorrow is my day off, so I bet I will have to report. That is going to suck for sure! But that will over time so that at so bad. And I will not have to work to earn it.

Nicol..............Yeah I wish the gym opened early on the weekends also, but it not a big deal when I don't have to work, so only every other weekend it matters. What do you think the chances are I could swing them to my way? LOL

Barb..............I don't mind the rain, it keeps things clean. But I would rather be home when it rains so I can kick it in bed with a good book or some great movies. or SLEEP. You sound like me on the sleeping in. Up before 8 even on the weekends. UGH!! whats up with that?

Mommy..........So how was your day yesterday and spending it with your friends? Where was the pot luck and what did you take? I sometime love pot lucks, it gives you a change to teast things that you might not any other time. I hope your day cleared up and you was able to enjoy the days.

Steph............Hey that saving is not 10 dollars, its 120 dollars for Vegas. LOL When are we going? Are we there yet? The cat where just telling you it time to start your day, that is why they let the sun in. Or they wanted FOOD. Nap are best when its raining. I hope you had the chance to rest and yet spent some time with your son.

Elizabeth........so what did you do yesterday? nothing? or did you finish your "stuff" I hope you rested because today is monday, and no rest.  Have a great week.

Nancy.............I love the old western. Can you beleave they are doing a remake of True grit??? That is just wrong on so many levels. I jus****ched the original that other day. It still rocks. I have not made my mind up on weather I will see the new one. I just know my dad is pissed about the remake also. I loved John Wayne.

OK kids time to start my day....since the car is now moved, and before the dead line. Good thing, because I didn't have a clue who I would have called to moved it. LOL

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

Lu, sorry you've had to deal with that first thing this morning, what a bummer.

Yesterday I got to Costco and to WalMart.  Shopping done for a while, slowly but surely I am getting my freezer stocked with good stuff.

Today I am supposed to be off however, I need to go in for a meeting at 8a.m. and then I am coming home and Ron and I are going to a friends house for lunch.  I still have laundry to do, no rest for the wicked I guess!

You have to make the ticker factory ticker smaller and then paste it right next to the ticker.  Let me know if you still have  problems getting it on there.

I agree with you about True Grit...after seeing the trailors on TV, no way I'm paying money to see it.  The guy they got for Rooster Cogburn just isn't John Wayne and no one can play 'lil' sister' like the Darby girl.  We didn't get in Fiddler on the Roof last nite...I got hooked on my 48 Hours on ID...real crime stories, some of which I even knew about!  Drives Lon nuts, all my crime mysteries..but then I gave up FarmTown, FarmVille and almost FB itself...and he is hooked on them all...so we're happy LOL  Least we're still sitting side by side as we do our own thing ;-)

Today is work and then tonight Lon and I have to take an on-line course before seeing the attornies on Friday.  Won't make support group tonight and I will really miss that.  I've been really concentrating  on getting the few lbs off that I put on over the holidays...man, it is no longer 'easy'...you gotta work at this stuff!!  But...I've lost 4 of the 8 I gained...and now that I think I found out how my body is going to react, I hope to get the last 10lbs off to reach my goal.  THEN I'll be really really happy ^_^

Afternoon Lu and Cali,

Well I am taking a break, seem like this morning just drug on!!  I have accomplished a lot, but still loads to do.  Trying to wrap up this audit and move to the next!!  At least I am home till at least the end of February.  Can you believe it two whole months!!

I took chili beans to the potluck, they had some good things for me like Hummus and a meat platter with lots of yummy protein (ham, roast beef, turkey and cheese).  Someone else also took chili, but my DH did not tell they were going too, he said he wanted mine!!  Oh well some did get eaten, but we brought a boat load home.  I added some TVP to it to bump up the protein now that it is just us eating it.

got my self a little Razor scooter (like a skateboard with a handle) so I can scoot with Ms V.  She had fun yesterday her and I going around the block, her first on her new bike with me following and then us both on the scooters.  She wants to go to the park when I pick her up from school, not sure how warm it will be, but maybe we can go around the lake once.

Howdy Y'All!  Just me peeking my head in like I do now and again.

Yes, I'm still on the run full steam ahead.  Joe and I have been getting in some nice Harley rides between rain storms.  We leather up and hit the roads just around the house.

We lost our dear Jezebel (Jezzie) last September and decided to keep one of Maggie's pups.  Darned if that dang Dozer ain't a kick in the head and Jezzie re-incarnated!  He has so many of her mannerisms and her little quirks that just make us laugh in wonderment.  His latest trick made me break out in laughter remembering her.  She used to maintain eye contact at all times if you had food.  I used to look her in the eye, smile and turn my back to her.  Well, she'd get up and walk around to my front side and sit and stare and drool.  Well, darned if he hasn't started doing it too!!!

He is a darned good watch dog too!  Joe and his buddy went out to "play" one night at 10:30 and I went to bed.  About 40 minutes later I hear a noise out in the living room, then felt the bed rumble just before I heard the growl.  He stood up, hair standing straight up and started barking/growling.  I got out of bed, grabbed my baseball bat and headed out.  By the time I got there, Dozer had Todd pinned in the corner and wasn't letting him move.  Boys learned a lesson.  1.  Don't come back earlier than expected.  2.  Don't mess with the dog.  3.  Momma carries a baseball bat!  They're lucky momma didn't get into the safe!

Everything else is doing good.  The damn carb monster took ahold of me but I wrestled that sucker into submission and hopefully he's licking his wounds somewhere in a dark cave.  I'm super uber busy being the 2011 Chairman of the Board of Trustees for our employee association.  It's a lot of work, but also a lot of fun!  And a lot of travel.  Sorry Barb for not contacting you when I was in Concord last week, but I was harboring germs and did not want to share!!!  I had a horrid sore throat, snuffly nose and by the time I got home my sinus infection had flared up again (after 10 days of antibiotics the bounce-back is horrid!  Those damn bacteria are pissed you tried to kill them off and return with a vengence).  And, since my immune system was compromised, I got the nasty cold on top of it all. 

How's everyone else doing????  Miss you all.  Need to come back here more often!

Happy Tuesday Evening!

I did not check in yesterday because I ate something that did not agree with me and my head was in the toilet most of the evening. I am doing much better today.

Well I really did not do much of anything on the weekend. Sunday I was completely lazy. I did a couple of things on Saturday. My husband was lazy on Sunday, in fact I did not even get dressed until almost 4 on Sunday. It was nice. Yesterday and today I was with the grand babies. Ryan went to school this morning.

Well have you had to report for jury duty yet, Lu? I wish I would never even get called again but I know that will not happen.

Sounds like everyone else is staying busy and having fun. Tomorrow I have to get housework done because it is driving me crazy. I hope you all have a great evening.
