Good Morning Calif........

Since the gym is not opened at this hour on sundays, I thought I would stop in and see how things are going with everyone. I am just working so nothing fun to talk about there.

I got one them Jury Duty call notice. I was hoping they would love for me show up tomorrow. But nope, I have to call again monday night. UGH!! I don't like that. I can not make plans or any thing. I don't mind having to sit around in the jury room when I am should be at work but not when I could be out having fun.

I wish the gym opened at 4:30 on Sat and Sunday too.  Just because it's the weekend doesn't mean I am not up and ready that early.  Waiting till 7 on weekends makes me not want to go. LOL (granted today is my rest day so I wouldn't have gone if it was open at 4:30 anyway but I'd like to have the OPTION!  LOL)

I hope you don't have to go to Jury Duty.  I was lucky enough they passed on me last time :)

Happy Sunday. I hope you call and you don't have to report Lu, that just happened to me late last year, I called and they didn't need me.

Today, finally a chance to sleep in... for me thats 7:30 a.m. but it sure did feel good.  Friday night and all day Sat was spent in class, so it's nice to have a little down time.  I am supposed to take tomorrow off but I will go in for a couple of hours for a meeting and then we're going over to a friends house for lunch.

Hopefully today I will get to Costco, at least that's the plan.  We had a quick rain come through during the night and I am hopeful we've seen the last of it now.  I am so ready for Spring.

Morning Lu and Cali,

Today we have lots planned a pot luck with my DH's high school friends at lunch time, then church tonight.  Had to move church to the evening because we could not have gone to church and gotten to San Mateo by 11:30.  So glad we have the option of 6PM mass.

It is raining and kind of dreary, but hope it clears up soon.  Maybe we can go to the city for a while since we will be on the peninsula.  Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday.

Weekend just seems to be flying past.  Not much going on here though.  Yesterday I had some errands to run including going over to the car dealer.  Toyota Finance decided to give me a lower interest rate, so I had to go sign some new papers for that.  It only amounts to about $10.00 a month, but hey $10 is $10, right.  That's two runs to Starbucks.  LOL

I have no idea what we are doing today.  My son was supposed to come over and get the pink slip for the Explorer.  I don't know if he is still planning on doing that or not.  I guess he'll call me when he gets up.  I'm thinking if he doesn't come over they might just be a nap in m future.

The cats just moved my drapes in the living room and the sun is now blinding me but the warmth of it feels really good.  Hope work isn't too demanding for you today Lu.  Hope everyone else has a great sunday.

Good morning to you to Lu and Cali friends.

I had jury duty a couple of years ago and boy was I glad when it was over. It was a domestic violence case. We all agreed they both needed to go to jail but only the man was on trial. We found him guilty.

Well I don't really have anything planned for today. Maybe I will do the things I was going to do yesterday or  maybe I won't.

Good Luck with the jury duty, Lu.  Last year  I got called, received deferrment cus I was too busy at work...then the 2nd time around, spent 5 days calling in...thank the stars, I was released without ever having to go to the court house ;-)

Just finished watching my all time favorite movie, Dr Zhivago with Omar Sharif and Julie Christie..what a fabulous love story...and the scenery was out of this world.  Now Lon gets his movie..Open Range with Annette Benning, Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner..shoot 'em up Cowboy LOL  Last nite watched the original True Grit with John Wayne and then Jeremial Johnson with Robert Redford.  Tonight might be Fiddler On The Roof..we both love that film..the original, of course LOL

Weather is still yuky fog so going out isn't likely.  Might head over to the thrift store..trying to find some small dinner plates, Corell preferred...the ones I have are just too big..great for Lon but causes me problems portion wise. :-(

Oh! found a wonderful Ukrainian bread at the Russian store yesterday!  Only 60 calories and 11g of carb...and actually tastes good LOL  Now I can really enjoy my softboiled eggs in the morning ^_^

Well, back to crotching my blanket...using chunky yarn..man is it getting heavy!  Have a great day everyone!
