Support groups

Does anyone know of a local support group for the Downey, Whittier, Norwalk area?

Hi Donna, Long Beach isn't far way, and we have our unofficial support group tomorrow at the Starbucks on Bellflower just north of the 405. We meet at 10 and all are welcome (See Ms. Shell's post from a few days ago.). A few of us teach in Paramount and usually go to a local Starbucks there. How are you doing?  I have not seen you since the OH Convention last year.   Hope all is going well for you.

You should be able to get a list of support groups from Dr. Ali's office.  I know they have one here in LB at LB Memorial and there is 1 or 2 in Fountain Valley/Fullerton area.  There is one at Lakewood Regional-you will have to call for this info.   Also, Terry Row does a support group on a Saturday in the Anaheim area.  You may want to find her here on the board.

As I have mentioned before, I do not attend support group meetings.  I do attend the LB Coffee on occasion.  

I will be going to see Dr. Ali on the 18th and can pick up a list of meeting for you if you like.  I will post on the board next weekend with information on support group meetings that I get from his office.
