Good Evening All........

Welcome to Friday, and now that its after work hours, let the weekend beging. Not that I am off this weekend. Nope, I work this weekend.

But I have some great news. No, DD hasn't not gotten a house, but the hunt is still on. But she did get a wheel chair and a portable air tank. Yap, all we had to is ask. DUH!! the doctor was all so happy to help. We did have to pay $30 for the chair, but big deal. Have you priced one before 
So now she is moble to get up and go. And guess what? she is GONE tonight. Went over to her friends house. Awwww the peace of being home ALONE

Today I had a great lunch with a couple of my friends and we sat in the same spot for a good 3 hours just talking. What a great time that was. Yesterday was an even better day. A friend and I took off to the thrift stores. Spent maybe $3 between us. But had a great time just looking and touching EVERYTHING!!!!  We would see something and be all OMG! Do you remember this? Seeing things from when we where kids. The weather was great and well......its a good day. One for the books.

Enjoy your time alone. It is heaven! So is DD's wheelchair motorized? I hope so. I am glad you had fun with your friends today. I love to shop and look at everything even if I buy nothing it is fun.

Today my DH and I went to Modesto to shop for carpet. We actually agreed on a carpet we liked. The salesman is ordering samples to be sent to our home. We are choosing between two colors. They are similar but one is a little bit darker. My DH's friend is a carpet layer and he can get a good price for us and will put the carpet in. Of course we will pay him. He does excellent work. We had our dinner Friday night dinner out with our friends and us women went shopping afterward. We went to Walmart and Target. Well that is it for today. Tomorrow my DH is going hunting and I am going to work in the house. I need to finish in my closet and do the regular cleaning. I actually have a quiet weekend planned.

Hello everyone!

Well my Friday was going well until dinner time.  We decided to go out to eat.  A small chines buffet we have not been to for a while.  Well I had my couple pieces of calamari, egg foo young and lemon chicken.  It was great, at bit or two of it all!  Then I splurged with about 2 table spoons of soft serve, GOD was watching because in two minutes I started to itch.  By the time i got home (two blocks) I had hives!!  I had to take two benadryl and go to bed.  I wanted to scratch my skin off and figured that was the only thing that would keep me sane!  I feel much better this morning, but got up late for me (7am).  I won't do that again!!

Awwww, D, what a horrible reaction!!  Are you sure it wasn't something in the Chinese food?  Like MSG?  On softserve?  Who woulda guessed?  Has this happened before??  I can rightly imagine you won't be going near the soft serve anytime soon :-(  Sure hope the hives were 'temporary'..like in they are gone today??  Hope your weekend gets better!

Nancy asked all the questions I was going to ask. I am glad you are feeling better today. I have been lazy today. I did the dishes and one load of laundry. I had such big plans for cleaning. I feel am feeling rather weak today. I don't think I got enough protein yesterday. There is always tomorrow to get that stuff done! LOL
