Orange County, CA- PCP Referral needed

Hi All,

I'm planning my surgery soon and I think I will switch PCP when I do as I don't think my PCP will be on board with it- I'm self-pay.

Does anyone have a good recommendation on a PCP in the Orange County, CA area that would be WLS friendly?  I am somewhat of a lighter weight BMI but given the path of obesity in my family, I am choosing to have my surgery now instead of waiting to lose and regain more weight each time I try.

 I see Kristen Dark, MD in Buena Park.  My former PCP just didn't "get it".  When I changed to Dr Dark, my insurance approved me within 3 months.  Dr Dark has personal experience with WLS and was a real asset in my preparation and recovery.
