Options class is over!!

It's been 3 months already and my Kaiser Options class is finally over! Some people say they don't need the ed class but I found out a lot of things. I am so glad I didn't try to challenge the insurance because the class is a wealth of information. Next step is to finally have my psych eval on Feb 10. then my referral to the doc will be put in. I am so Happy right now!

WooHoo for you Kandis!!!!! Told you they would fly by! I am already going to be 7 weeks post op on saturday. I cannot believe how fast it has gone by. I am 30 pounds down from surgery and 48 pounds total gone. I am at a stall right now...I cannot wait for you to get it all done!!!! I am so happy for you!!!

Thanks Lori! I also found out San Joaquin has special Kaiser days for bariatrics so I was glad to hear that. One of the teacher's said the day when we visit the surgeon , you get your surgery date because they are not backed up. And you may even have surgery the next day or week. How cool is that?
Thirty more pounds is so awesome! It takes a lot of hard work but it's so dang worth it!

That is Wonderful Kandis!! I am so happy for you! I cannot wait for you to get it done....Maybe We can meet up before your surgery sometime. I am venturing out more now that I am on somewhat normal foods. I pack stuff and take everywhere with me. I bought me a cute lil lunch box even. You are only about 1 hour from me.....I am so excited for you!!!!!

Oh WOW, that did go very fast!  Congratulations on your next step.  You will have your date before you know it!

Congratulations Kandis!!!  I remember, I was happy but also sad when OPTIONS ended.  I too, learned alot and really wished that it was 6 months instead of 12 weeks!  Keep us all updated with your progress and remember, use those red bands and chart  your food intake!!

 Hi Kandis our classes also ended today. I enjoyed them so much and learned a lot. I am happy to be done but sad that its over. We met a lot of awesome people in our classes. 
We still have to do our psych eval not sure when ours will be. We are hoping to have our surgery's with in the next few months.
