Good Night All....

Will its time to close the book on today. I didn't do much other then hang out. I didn't even take a nap. I had my friend Cyndi and her husband over for a few hours, then moments after they left, my sis Dana and her husband came over dinner. I BBQ chicken and DD made rice and her son made dip for chips. It was a great dinner......

Kristi..........I don't think the surgery is going to help with Veritago, since I had surgery 6 years ago and got it for the frist time a few days ago. It suchs for sure.

Steph...........since we talked today, you know all about my life and I know about yours. But we should start talking about things its almost time for our trip....where to this year?

Nancy............Hey, we have a hoarder living here also. I bet its the same person. I know its not me, since I didn't have enough stuff in my house to fill one room, now all my rooms are over full. So its all DD. I didn't find the question hard, I just found them hard to answer. I know why I wanted to be a leader, just didn't know how to say it. does that make since. You will make a GREAT leader!

Barb..............How is the Mother in Law doing? I sure hope she is feeling much better. And for that matter, I hope you are feeling better. I hate when the crud hits and knocks you for a loop.

OK kids, what do you have planned for the rest of the weekend? For me, its rest. Sound good to any one?

Hey there,

I should be sleeping.  It is so late.  I think I'm starting to get tired though.  Guess just too much on my mind.  I always have wished there was a switch that you could just flip and your brain would only do what you needed it to do.  You know, make your heart beat, keep you breathing, but the thinking goes off until the alarm you set wakes it up.  Wow, I'm insane.  LOL Or maybe just tired.

So as for our trip this year.  I am leaning towards Vegas and staying downtown.  We always stay on the strip when we go so staying at the Golden Nugget would be a new experience.  I think that is what we should plan.  Unless you can think of something else.  I shall defer to whatever you want. 

OK, time for some antihistamines and hopefully sleepy time.  My son is coming over tomorrow and we are going to buy me a new TV.  I can't wait. A TV I will actually be able to see and hopefully hear.  I'm psyched.

So hope everyone had a great day and is enjoying their weekend.  Nite Nite.

Fremont Street is such a neat experience!  How fun it would be to stay close by...a bit noisy but such fun! 

I agree with the need for an 'off' switch!  Too many nites or early mornings I lay there with the brain refusing to shut down :-(  I can cause my own anxiety attacks because I can't stop 'thinking'!

So? are you buried in tax returns?  Hopefully, you get to poke your head up for air once in a while ;-)

Sleep, such a rare commodity these days.  But not buried in returns yet.  Still too early and besides anyone who has to file a Schedule A or a few other schedules can't file before February 15th anyway.  The IRS isn't ready for them because of changes made at the last minute.  But I suppose in the next few weeks things will start heating up and then I'm just an unpleasant person to be around. Then I start my yearly mantra of come April 15th come quickly.  Of course this year they've extended it to April 18th.  Oh well, retirement will be here eventually.

Good Sunday morning Lu and Cali Friends,

Finally feeling human again!  I think I've slept more since Friday when I got home from work than I've been awake.  I guess my body was telling me for a change.  My pouch must have wondered what happened, no food for a day.  But I'm up and showered and dressed and gonna play with the freezer today!

Thanks for asking about my mother-in-law Isla, she got "sprung from the joint" (out of the hospital) and will stay here for a couple of days so we can make sure she doesn't try to do too much. 

That's all the news fit to print from my neck of the woods, just happy to be doing something but sleeping.

Hello Lu and Cali Friends.

Today I am going to organize my closet. I am going to get rid of stuff I don't use anymore, and see what clothes I have that fit and that don't fit. Hopefully I will get in a nap too. I stayed up pretty late last night. I should have checked OH to see this post last night.

Elizabeth...come help me with the garage!!  We never made it out there :-(  But I did get one more closet re-arranged...out of necessity..couldn't find what I was looking for LOL

Checked into the Reba/George Straight event..all I can say is WOW!  only tickets available thru Ticket Master are in the nose bleed section....and the 're-sellers' are really gauging the prices!  Some as high as $700!!  Just insane :-(  Guess I won't be making that 'scene'...duh..really?? :-(

I figured that only nose bleed tickets were available at this point. I love George Strait but I sure would not spend $700 to see him. I would not pay that much to see anybody. I am not sure where our seats are, we are going with a lady who runs a tour company here in town. She usually gets pretty good seats. We are eating at the Black Bear Cafe before the concert. I love that place.

My poor DH, he had just finished cleaning up the garage and his office when I had him get the Christmas stuff down and I messed up his office and the garage. I finally got everything packed up again and he and Mike (my youngest son) put everything up in the rafters in the garage. Mike came down to go hunting with his dad today. Chee dropped him off yesterday and she went to Fresno to have a birthday slumber party for one of her girlfriends. They are staying at one of the casinos near Fresno. I hope they had a good time. We will see Chee this afternoon.

Well I need to get off this computer and get to work. Have fun in the garage when you get in there.

Thanks for the vote of confidence...and yes, I fully understand what you mean..the questions aren't hard...just hard to phrase my wording to say what I want to get across.  And not knowing if they want short or long-winded answers LOL

I am finally breathing a sigh of relief..the scales started moving DOWN again!! Down 2.5lbs this morning...I was really getting frustrated...doing all I was suppose to...and this old body just refusing to let go :-(  Guess the 'honeymoon' is truly over...now I'm like everybody else..gotta follow the rules and stop trying to be 'normal', whatever THAT is.

Waiting for the sun to burn off this darn fog we've got this morning...wanting to get Lon out of the house for a while..go down to Old Town and walk around.  Check out my absolute favorite leather shop...maybe they got new stuff?  Everything is $20 or less...just unbeleivable..and it's REAL leather.

Of course, gonna work on the dreaded 12 questions for OH...but I need to get it done today...work week is gonna get crazy.
