Support Leader--I'm going to do it!

Well, I've jumped off the deep end and decided to go for the OH certified Leader program.  I've sent in my application and received back a boat load of questions to answer..all ESSAY! LOL  My local support group's dynamics are changing...so thought I'd get 'educated' so I could help out the new co-facilitators, 1 who is pre-op and the other post-op..just a few months further out than me.   And on a more personal note,,doing it also to help myself stay on track, accountable and ever mindful that this journey is a Life Long one, not something for the short term ;-)

Good Luck Nancy. I think you would be great at it. I was thinking of doing it buy my husband was not to keene on the idea. I tend to take on people's problems as my own, so I would end up driving myself crazy.

LOL...ask my kids and they'll say I'm already there (crazy) LOL  I use to have that problem...thought I should be able 'solve' problems...now I just want to help others find their own answers.  Plus I've got Lon to keep me grounded LOL

That's awesome.  I wrote to someone on OH to get info and never heard back.  I obviously didn't get to the right person!! You'll do wonderfully and you know I support you 100%.
