What a great turnout.  Looks like you all really enjoy your monthly lunch gatherings, and so much stuff nicely organized for the clothing exchange.

When you get together at your luncheons, do you actually conduct your gathering like a WLS meeting or just good company, friends, and lots of laughter along with discussions amongst yourselves on your WLS journeys?

Your group gets bigger and bigger.

We really do enjoy our time together!  We do not conduct our gatherings like a meeting, but there are a LOT of hugs, congrats, pics, and discussions among the groups that are seated together.  We sit at one long table and it seems like we all get to visit with one another.

Yep, our group keeps getting bigger and bigger and we love it that way!  I love our outtings too, this year we've got bowling & pizza night, a pool party, a picnic, Apple Hill weekend, and the Holiday potluck and white elephant clothing exchange.  It's awesome, we have such fantastic folks, we're all friends and some of us are considering doing the 100th San Francisco Bay to Breakers together in May, it's a 12k walk.  I think it's going to be a blast.

So glad you enjoyed the pics.  Wish you could come up for a visit sometime.

Annette...this group is just awesome!  The group dynamics are so diverse with everyone being at a different stage in their journey.  Some are within a couple of months of each other surgery daywize others are brand new or waiting for the life changing day.  While we don't have a formal discussion, everyone is encouraged to ask questions or talk about their journey.

The bowling date and picnic will be new this year; but based on the wonderful time we have had at Apple Hill and the pool party...I know they also will be a great success and a lot of fun.  By all means, get on that silver bird and come join us!!

Thank you so much for organizing these great luncheons. Diane and I had a great time and will make the trek from Sacramento as often as we can. Thank you for posting the pics, Diane and I didn't make it outside in time for the group pic, next time we'll be quicker. LOL!

It was great to finally meet you, too. Thank you for your offer and I will definitely call you if I have any problems with transportation. Most of the times I missed was due to schedule conflicts and I missed Sept because I was just being released from the hospital. In the future, I will be at as many functions as I possibly can. I can't speak for Diane but she really enjoyed meeting everyone and said she will attend with me as often as she can, too. So.... see you in February!!
