I think Wendy (newdirectionhome) from the LW forum is going to try to join us tomorrow.  I happened to meet her while shopping in Sonoma.  We hit it off and she told me she wanted to have WLS and whala, here she is!  :)

 This is late notice, but I found out about this meeting from Lee. I hope to be there. I live in Sonoma, but lived in the East Bay for many years.

We welcome you with open arms.  I don't want you to be disappointed when you get there but this is more of a social event than a formal support group, but that being said there is a HUGE amount of support and the best, most friendliest folks you'll ever meet.  We get together once a month, share friendship, support and above all laugh and have fun.  We do lunches some months and do outtings during others, it's really up to the group.  In fact, today we'll be doing our calendar for 2011 and decide how many outtings we do and where and how many lunches, so you'll be amongst the "activities planning committe of 40!"  LOL

Can't wait to meet you.
