Good Morning Calif....

I know,m I have not been around. Only because I have not had to work for the pass 4 days. If I am don't have to work, I don't get online until much later in the day. Most times It would be after noon before I would even thing about the computer. 

The only fun thing I done the past few thing day was I went and got my hair cut off. LOL Yap its all gone again. I did sent the cut off hair to Locks for Love. I am also thinking about getting a Brizilain Blowout. Well once it all grows out agian that is. LOL. Have any of you had one? or know someone that has?  Does it really work like they say it does? I read on the internet that you can get of the shower and have great hair. No frizz. Is that true?

Lu we've missed you!  Hope you've enjoyed your days off, which it sounds like you have.  Someone will really benefit from your hair you sent to Locks of Love, how great.  The shop I go to when I get my hair done used to do the Brazilian Blowout but they stopped because of the harsh chemicals they said.  I had inquired because I didn't know what it was. I know it was expensive to get done too my hairdresser said.  But she liked the results too on her clients.

Not much is new in my neck of the woods but TGIF.

Good morning, what is a brazillian blowout, the only brazillian I have heard about has nothing to do with the hair on your head.., forgive my ignorance here.  Other than that I hope you all have a great day, and I need to walk my dogs in some cold cold weather.

The blow out is very harsh.  My nice had it done and most of her hair broke off.  We have curly hair which is usually very strong but it could not hold on after the treatment.  If you do it make sure they know what they are doing!!

Thank god it is Friday like barb said!!  My week has been a whirl wind.  But I did get some good news finally, my director is retiring in the summer~~whoo hoo!!!  Not sure if I want to apply yet, but it might be the worst of two evils (someone else gets it and they are horrible or I get it and have no free time anymore!!).  The unknown is scary!!  But I am always up to a challenge.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

Well I have never heard of a Brazilian Blowout either. I have heard of the other Brazilian thing thought and it sounds very painful.

Well I have been sick since Sunday. I have this Sinus thing going on. I am finally feeling better now. I went to the doc on Monday and he gave me a decongestant and antibiotic and that has helped. I have gotten a lot of rest. The decongestant put me right to sleep. Since I have been sick I have not had any grandkids time and I miss them. I did not want to expose them to this though. I will be with them Monday and Tuesday though. I can't wait.

Tomorrow I am going to a tea at the McHenry Mansion in Modesto. I have never been there but my niece Michelle has and said it is beautiful. I am looking forward to going. It will be nice to get out of the house.

I am feeling much better today. I am looking forward to going to the grocery store because I have not been out since Monday! I am feeling housebound! I looked at  my calendar and I don't have the grandkis until Wed. and Thurs. Oh well I will have to make a special trip on Sunday to see them.

How is Lon doing? Is he walking everywhere yet?

You will get to meet my niece, Michelle, she lives in Turlock. She is going through all the hoops to have her surgery. Hopefully she will have her first appointment with the surgeon in March with the surgery to follow soon. It has been approved by the insurance company she just has to get all the stuff done before surgery that needs to be done.

It will be so good to see you on the 15th!

Not much going on in my world....but really thankful it's Friday. Don't know what we'll do but it's always nice to be away from the bustle of the office.

I've turned back to the Boards for support and encouragment...my local support group is going in a direction I'm not happy with ...seems it's more about 'dieting' and less about learning the program.  When people start 'messing' with the 'rules'...making exceptions....I always ask...why did you go thru the surgery???  Didn't you make a committment to change your eating ways way back when???  Needless to say, my comments are not well received.  So be it...I didn't go this route to just find ways to get around it. And I certainly didn't join a WLS group for popularity reasons...even tho I admit, I would like to be liked!!  LOL

So, I'll jump off my whining crate...and just be good to myself ;-)  Have a wonderful weekend everyone...I know I plan to! ^_^
