1 Month Follow Up

Greetings all,

I had my 1 Month follow-up today and everything went very well......Best thing of all is I AM TUBE FREE......WOO HOO. That G-Tube was driving me nuts and am SO thankful for it to be gone. Doctor  put me on regular foods very slowly (I remember those days LOL). Doctor was very pleased with my progress thus far. Only shock to me was he said he couldnt make my sleeve as small as the normal sleeve because of the reversal. He said that blood circulation would have been comprimised so my sleeve is a little (not much) larger than normal.

I have lost another 8 pounds in the past 3 weeks which I am so pleased with. Today was the first time that the doctors scale (my scale has been for awhile) below 300 pounds. I am 56 pounds lighter than I was when I graduated high school and now only 44 pounds away from my goal (not the doctors LOL).

Anyway, have a great day all..............Rick

congratulations Rick!  As your scales have already shown...it was/will be worth it all.  I know you're happy to see the scales moving down again but not as much as 'losing' that tube ;-)  Hope recovery continues to go well!

Congrats Rick!  Glad to hear all is going well.  It's an amazing feeling to weigh less than you did when you graduated high school.  I felt the same way!  Have fun with all the "wow" moments to come.
