Good Morning ... Welcome 2011
OMG!!! Can you Believe its already 2011?? Where did this year go? I think I worked most of it. But this is a new year and I will not need to work as much over time. Yeah for me!!
I was in bed out like a light by 10 but did wake up for about 20 second at 1215 last night. I guess something woke me up. But since I didn't hear anything not even myself snoring. LOL
It was a great day at work yesterday and I am hoping today is much like yesterday. Of course I will be busy working on double check everyone's date. Mostly my own. I know for a fact that I will be putting the wrong year every where. How about you?
How was your "Ringing in the New Year"? I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed mine. Would it hurt your head if I yelled right now? LOL
OK time to get myself ready for work and to start my New Year off with a bang!

Happy New Year to everyone. So glad to hear you had an easy work day Lu.
Our New Year's Eve was a quiet one. We stayed up and toasted the New Year and then hit the hay! This morning we'll watch the parade and then go visit Ron's Dad.
One more day off and it's back to work for me. I've really enjoyed these two weeks off. I didn't realize how much I needed some down time, but I feel really good and ready to go back to work.

Our New Year's Eve was a quiet one. We stayed up and toasted the New Year and then hit the hay! This morning we'll watch the parade and then go visit Ron's Dad.
One more day off and it's back to work for me. I've really enjoyed these two weeks off. I didn't realize how much I needed some down time, but I feel really good and ready to go back to work.

I had a fun New Year's Eve. We went to our friends house like we always do on New Year's Eve. We played some fun games and brought in the New Year with Sparkling Apple Cider. So Lu you can yell all you want! LOL
Barb, I am glad you had a nice New Year too. I don't know why vacation goes by so quickly compared to a work day. LOL

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all. We had a very nice new year's eve. Went over to a friend's house, made some dinner there, talked and laughed and then rang in the new year with some champagne and fireworks. We already are planning for next NYE. LOL We are a strange group to say the least. Only thing that would have made it better was if you were with us, Lu.
So only today and tomorrow and then it is back to work. I just don't know how the time goes by so quickly. Actually while we were away it seemed to not go by as quickly, but now that it's almost over, I have to ask how it is that it's time for me to go back to work already. I could use another day off.
Oh well time to start my laundry. Vacation seems to end with lots of laundry to do. Hope everyone enjoys their first day of 2011. Wow, that's going to take some getting used to.

Hello Lu and Cali, well we are finally home. I have been non stop since we got home. Santa came to our house yesterday since I did not take any of Ms V's gifts when he had our emergency trip down south. I did not think I could ever be so tired. The memorial service had at least 300 people and reception around 200. We managed to feed everyone and my Aunt and cousins helped us out thank god. I am hoping to wind down for a couple days but that is not going to happen any time soon.
Today is christmas numer 3 for DH's family. I cooked lunch to take to my in laws. I just want to sleep a little. Hope I make it through the day.

I love the beginning of a new year....the 'slate' is wiped clean and all opportunities and new beginnings are here for the taking. We have another chance to breath, love, believe, contribute, share with others. Never miss the challange of stretching your boundaries...enriching your life with something new!
Spent a quiet evening watching Anderson Cooper try to 'control' Kathi Griffin during the New York New Year's Eve celebration. It was more fun watching them than worrying about whether or not the 'ball' would fall LOL Of course, Nashville needs a little more practice getting their guitar to work properly...it stopped midway down the tower :-(
Today is the day I pull myself up by the perverbial boot straps and get back to working my tool the way it is suppose to be worked. I'm even considering looking into OH's certified leader program or whatever it's called....helping others would certainly help me stay accountable ;-)
Like Barb and MommaA1C, I go back to work Monday after having almost 2 weeks vacation. Didn't do much of anything, except mess up my wake/sleep schedule! Think I was trying out 'retirement'...getting an idea of what it must feel like LOL I'm actually looking forward to going back into the office, even if the next 30 days are going to be a pressure cooker...lots and lots of deadlines but it will make each day go by faster, which is a good thing ^_^
And I need to get back to participating here...the support and encouragement I receive just can not be found anywhere else! I wish you all a very prosperous New Year!!
