Looking for a Walnut Creek / Concord area RNY support group

Hi all!

I'm 18 months post-op and down 115 pounds.  Life is GREAT!    After getting married a few months ago, my husband and I have relocated to Walnut Creek from the Sacramento area and I am looking to join a local Bypass support group 

Any information / ideas would be much appreciated!  Looking forward to connecting.

Welcome to the area!  I live in Concord.   There is a wonderful support group located at John Muir Hospital, Concord Campus that meets the 2nd Sat of every month from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Lesher Auditorium.  Ann Timberlake runs that support group and it's very well done.

Also, we have a Nor Cal "Losers" group that meets once a month for lunch or fun outtings during the year.  We meet at Coco's in Concord and our next get together will be on Jan 15th at noon.  A greater group of folks would be hard to find.  We're lots of fun and very welcoming.  My post with the specific info is further down the posts on the Cali Forum.  Hope to see you there.

Wondered what happened to you!  Hope you take Barb's invite and join us on Jan 15 at Coco's.  We have such a great time!

And congratulations on the marriage!!  Bring hubby with you to the luncheon...we promise he won't be the only guy there LOL
