Good Morning Calif..

If Friday......only 8 days till Xmiss. I still have to get DD a gift. I got her some stuff but she was with me. So now I need to get her something she wont know about.  I know most of what she got me also. The stuff we know about wont be wrapped, but the rest will be. So any idea what I should get her?

Next Friday, I work 16 hours. I promises them I would so that everyone can have it off. Now the person that was going to work after me, got a new job and wont be there. I promise you this. I am off a 11:30 and I am walking out the door, even if there is no one there to replace me. ....make that RUNNING out the door.

I made a hugh pot of my no pasta gulawsh (?) its all veggie with groud beef. You heat it with some cheese and the rocks!!! I love this stuff and that is what I am going to be eatting for the next four days. OMG!!!! 4  12 hours shifts. Come Monday I will want to kill someone...JK!!!

Wow you are going to need some time off for sure!  Take care of your self.

I am packing up to go home today~yeah!! I have been gone from the house for 14 days straight.  DH is ready for me to come home.  Maybe he will appreciate me more!!  Ms V will be excited too!  I will be off till after the new year, I really need it.  I am going to make tamales next week  and get the Christmas gifts wrapped.  then I can finally relax!!

Lu, you have such a kind heart and are so sweet to do that for others.  Santa will reward you greatly I'm sure.

Today is my last day of work and then I have until Jan 3rd off.  I so need some time to just chill out.  I am looking forward to it.  I will be going in on Monday for a little bit but nothing major.

Tomorrow is San Jose Saxophone Christmas.  Over 200 (we hope) sax players rally in the morning for 2 hrs of rehearsal and then do 2 concerts.  If it rains we'll only do the one concert at Vallco Shopping Mall at 5pm but if there is a break in the rain we'll do the 2pm performance at Christmas in the Park.  It's so much fun.

No plans for the rest of my time off and I'm so happy about that!

Good Morning Lu and the rest of Cali....

Hey Lu, here's a thought for a gift for DD.  A new place to live.  JK  Although it would probably do you both a world of good.  I'd have for sure either beat my sister into a coma or killed myself if we had to live together.  I just don't know how you do it sometimes.

I understand you wanting to be a good person and help everyone at work, but if you work one second past that inhumane 16 hours next Friday, I'll come over and drag you out of there. LOL

Not much going on here.  We were going to go the Newport Boat Parade on Saturday but it looks like the weather is not going to cooperate with us.  Standing out in the rain is just not my idea of fun. Guess I'll have to think of something else to do this weekend.  Going to have lunch with my son on Sunday so that is always nice.  Anytime I get to see my son is wonderful. 

And that about sums it up for me today.  Time to get busy and start my day.  Only 8 1/2 hours until "quitting time" and then let the weekend begin.  Did you ever notice how a bad weekend always beats out a great workweek.  LOL  Have a great day and a better weekend everyone.

Lu, sounds like you have one heck of a schedule coming up and I cant say I envy you. I know the pain of working so many days then having a 16 hour shift to top it off ACK !!!!! When Monday comes around, I would just go into seclusion for a day or 2 LOL.

For me, its still another day of healing and re-cooping. Doing my best of getting all my fluids and protein in. Been doing good with all the vitamins and all that good stuff and I am feeling pretty good. Still pretty sore and the I think I may be getting a small infection around the stupid G-Tube they left in as a precaution and it is a pain but all is all good..

Still trying to get use to living down here in Riverside....... Evrything is so different and close than we are use to. Been trying to get into the County of Riverside for a year now for a job as a nurse and wouldnt you know it that they called me on Tuesday to go to work. Had to tell them I cant go to wor****il the doctors release me and that wont be until after the 1st of the year..........
