Hi there, is anybody in here from Fresno or the Central Valley? I'm looking for a support group with a little more flexibility/frequency than the one offered by my doc (Dr. Keith Boone with ALSA). They only meet once a month and it was always on Tuesdays, but now  Wednesdays for all of 2011, and with my work schedule I can't usually make it.

Hi, I live in Merced and I don't think we have one at all in our area anymore. Try Clovis Community Hospital's Web Site. You will have your surgery at the new Heart and Surgical Hospital but they are run by the same group. Clovis specializes in WLS. They may have support groups that meet there. Good Luck!

I'm from Fresno and had surgery 18 months ago with Dr. Swartz.  RNY.  Add me as your buddy and contact me when ever you need to talk.  When are you having surgery?
