Thank you so much for the well wishes!!!! Today I am doing great!!! Have had no pain meds at all. Will need to take a little spot of it before bed. Where I had a drain is still sore and I want to make sure I get a good rest. I have to travel tomorrow to Ventura to my surgeon again for a post op class. I am excited for this journey and I am happy so far at the way it is all turning out. I am remaining poitive and the gas is pretty much gone...thank GOD for that one!!!! I have never been so happy to pass gas in my life...I was laughing and smiling the first time I did it and even got so excited I told my hubby he had to hear the sounds it makes in my tummy before it lets go..HEHE...He is being a trooper and he just laughs at me. I also have him home until the first of the year with me......I am so grateful for so many things!!!! AND you all on this site are included in that!!!!!
Thanks to you all for your continued support and encouragement!!!!

My surgeon has us all come home with a drain for a few days after surgery. Each surgeron is different. Pac Bar removes them before you leave the hospital from what I was told by them and patients of theirs.....It helps to get the abdominal fluids out of your abdominal cavity and they can see what is coming out also and also for the leak test to see if anything came out if we had a leak
