I'm having a HORRIBLE time trying to sleep. I had thought originally that it was just since surgery but now that I remember I was this way this time last year as well.  Tonight was my first night trying Melatonin...2mg not kickin it ...fell asleep for about 3 hours...woke up with a headache. Gonna try to go back to sleep.

Another thing - - I was 248 and went up to 254 but it is also the week before my period, Ive been getting in all my protein naturally through food and all my vitamins as well as walking 2-3 miles a day. maybe water/period weight mixed with gained muscle? I hope thats all it is!

Well I find that I do not need as much sleep as I did when I weighed more. Also it might be the time of year. Do you think you have SAD. I know I do. I hope you sleep tonight.

Have you tried talking to your GP about the insomnia? I was like that right after i had surgery, then after about a week i couldnt get enough sleep, still cant LOL, as for you gaining weight before your time of month, Im the same way I gain anywhere from 3-7 pounds the week before and it stays on till about the 4th day, Hope you get some sleep!!
