Help! Need info for WLS Attorney

I know some have had to go this route to get their surgery done.  I have a friend that was transfered to Ca for work and was approved for surgery during that time.  Before he could get the surgery, he transferred back east and while he is still with the same company, the insurance now doesnt cover any weight loss related surgery in the state where he is now working. 
I would like to be able to at least give him info to consult with someone to see if he could get the insurance to pay for it.

I don't know anything on this but I know he is very disappointed. My niece lives in Arkansas and her insurance won't cover WLS either. She is the sister of my niece that I brought to the luncheon this month. I hope he can get the insurance to pay for his WLS.

Well Im hoping his disappointment only leads to determination  ....where there's a will there's a way.  Hit him up as a friend......all the info, help and encouragment can't hurt.  He's under my friends as ffrenchman I think?? maybe ffrenchmen??  We've known eachother since highschool...Great Guy....his name is Art.

Even though he has traveled outside of CA, I would start with the Calif. State Dept of Managed Health and see if they can assist.  Sometimes they know other state's agencies or may this sort of thing may have happened before.  Just a suggestion.

Thanks Barb.....I am compiling all suggestions for him and found his states managed health site as well.  He's a good friend from my highschool days.  He needs friends on his OH profile....hit him up....  Name's Art  profile is ffrenchman I think.  You can find him on my friends.  He needs all the advice and support we all get here.
