It has been a longtime!

I hope this holiday finds you all well. I haven't been on much at all in the last year because one year ago today my husbands Mom and Stepfather kidnapped my little girls. They took us to court in December and based on lies got temporary guardianship. Since this the judicial system kept us on our toes and the courts proved my inlaws were not telling the truth and on Monday we got our kids back. We still have to give them some visitation for the next 9 months but we know that when the 9 months is over they will never see them again. My husband has severed all ties to them.  This stress has made me start smoking again. I am planning on quitting soon now that we have them back. I am maintaining my weightloss. And my husband has been home since the end of January after being gone since Sept 2006 working as a private contractor for the US Marshal. We are happy and joyful that our family is a whole and in time for the holidays.

Congratulations on getting your children back.I think you did great not gaining you weight back. You will stop smoking when you are ready. I tell you that I just don't get some people. Just think you are really going to have a joyous Christmas Season with you children and husband.
