Just had Plastics!

Haven't been around in awhile..for those of you that know me, I had my rny in June of '06. Went to Tijuana in Aug of '08 for a circumfrencial lower body lift, and well, needless to say it was not a good experience.

I knew I needed more work done, so I decided to stick close to home. I just had a bilateral thigh all the way down to the knee liposuctuon and a mini face lift with Dr Michelle Place in Danville. My surgery was at the San Ramon Surgery Center. I know 3 people who've lost large amounts of weight, went to her, and were very happy and would go back to her again.

I can tell you this place is top notch, they took such good care of me. I had my surgery yesterday morning, got to my sister's yesterday afternoon, and am home today. Do I feel great? Hell no, I feel like I've been hit by a Mack Truck! Thank God for Percocet.!!

But all in all, at this point, it has been such a great experience...and price wise she is very fair...I paid $8,900 for everything, including the surgery center fees. I think he prices have gone up a bit, as I paid for this way back in the summer when I had the money.

She is very professional, personable and made me feel so comfortable...she never criticized the work I had done in MX, and she even took out some of the remaining stitches from that experience.

If you are looking into plastics, check her out I think you'll like her.

Congratulations and I am glad you are doing well. I am glad you found a surgeon that you liked. Now don't over due things and take care of yourself. Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Sorry your MX experience wasn't good but I'm glad that you found a good plastic surgeon. I can't wait to get my plastics done as I'm already 6+ years out but sadly...the $$ just isn't there so I have no choice but to live with my skin.

Sorry for your bad experience in Mx.  Nice to know you have found a local surgeon that was able to do what you wanted and was very professional and personable.  

Hope you heal quickly, but do not overdo it.

OUCH! Sounds like you have some healing to do. I'm sure you're much better off doing it in the USA...I recall your horrible experience...ughhh

Hey Buddy!

I woke up this morning and took my first shower...took the bandages off of my face, and I have a black eye and I'm so swollen I look like a Smurf...LOL!

I have my post op in a couple hours. Even with the swelling I can tell that my thighs are going to look so much better....can't wait to have my pants fit better!

Thats awesome! I have heard great things about the San Ramon Surgery Center itself. Good to know of another doctor in the area. I am having a BL/BA on Thursday. Just had extended TT two weeks ago. My doc wouldn't do them together, he is also pretty expensive. However, I would have to say he is in SF in a fancy office which I am sure his high fees pay for nicely. I am very satisfied with my doctor but I always love to hear about others in the area. Just in case I may need to get a consultation for my next "body project".
